Smith Rock State Park
Beautiful river trails, as well as more advanced rocks and hiking trails, Smith Rock is a beautiful place to spend a summer day in Central Oregon. In the years past, we've done multiple photoshoots here for our Christmas cards... So as you are looking at it, if it looks familiar, you may recognize it from those!
High Desert Museum
The High Desert Museum reveals the culture of the West’s High Desert through artful exhibits, alluring animals, engaging programs and meaningful Native American and pioneer history. Otters, porcupines, owls, bird of prey and much more. This living history museum hosts a variety of Desert Wildlife, and offers a glimpse into the past of the High Desert. Great for all ages!
Old Mill District
The Old Mill District along the Deschutes River is home to Bend's premiere shopping, dining and entertainment experiences. Take in a concert at the Les Schwab Amphitheater, go for a run along the Deschutes River Trail, or simply stroll from shop to shop with friends and family. The Old Mill District also boasts more than 12 riverfront restaurants that feature everything from exotic happy hours and fine dining to kid-friendly family-style meals. Additionally, the Old Mill includes three art galleries, a bike rental station and a kayak/surf/stand-up paddle board shop that'll have you on the river in no time!

In the heart of Bend, Historic Downtown Bend is home to a wide variety of restaurants, shops, theaters, a beautiful riverside park and much more!
Cascade Lakes National Scenic Byway
Of course, it wouldn't be Central Oregon if it weren't for the amazing lakes that we have locally, including all the ones along the Cascade Lakes Highway. Great for a day trip to go hangout at the lake or just take a scenic drive!
