Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR)
Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR) is the closest airport to our wedding venue, located just about a 45-50-minute drive from Dreams Bahia Mita Surf & Spa Resort. The airport is located in the state of Jalisco (city: Puerto Vallarta) and the wedding location is right over state border into the state of Nayarit. (town: Bucerias). We highly recommend flying into PVR for the most convenient and direct travel experience.

Transportation: Uber & Taxis
For transportation from the Puerto Vallarta airport, we recommend using Uber for its cost efficiency. However, please note that Uber is not allowed to pick up directly at the terminal, so you’ll need to incorporate a short 4–7 minute walk to reach the designated pickup area. Here’s how: Exit the terminal and turn left. Walk to the pedestrian bridge at the end of the building. Cross the bridge over the highway. Wait behind the bus stop or along the sidewalk - this is where Uber drivers are permitted to meet passengers. In the uber app, choose the option "in front of restaurant" for where to pick you up. Tip: there will be many taxi, shuttle, excursion and other providers offering (almost hassling you) their services but if you just say "no thank you" and keep walking until you get to the outside of the terminal to then continue on to the area where you can fetch an Uber, you'll be fine! An UberX from the airport to Dreams Bahia Mita Surf and Spa typically costs around $500–$600 MXN (approximately $26–$32 USD for the 45-55 mins drive to the resort). Again, traditional taxis are also available at the terminal, though fares are higher. As always, we encourage you to verify driver details and follow the safety guidelines provided in your rideshare app.

Dreams Bahia Mita Surf & Spa Resort
This is where our wedding will take place, where we’ll be staying, and where we’d love for you to stay as well! Dreams Bahia Mita Surf and Spa Resort is a beautiful all-inclusive resort with room rates typically starting at $350 USD per night and onward (depends on the number of guests). The rate includes accommodations, all meals (the restaurants), all the drinks your heart desires, room service (yes, that is correct) and many on-site activities, making it a convenient and relaxing choice. Plus you'll be right there where all the action is happening to "jump on the party bus" on a moment's notice since this will be a multi-day event. However, we understand that everyone has different preferences and budgets, so you're more than welcome to search for other nearby accomodations but please see below. BUT PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT TO ENTER THE WEDDING VENUE, THERE WILL BE A DAY PASS/WEDDING PASS, CHARGED BY THE RESORT, THAT COSTS $145 USD PER PERSON IF YOU ARE NOT A GUEST AT THIS RESORT. SIMILARLY, THERE IS A DAY PASS FOR ANY OTHER DAY THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO ENTER THE RESORT IF YOU ARE NOT A GUEST.

Lodging of your choice
While you're welcome to stay at any hotel of your choice, we recommend choosing accommodations within a 10-minute drive of the resort where the wedding will take place for convenience. Also, Uber is an available option for getting around. Again, we highly recommend staying at Dreams Bahia Mita Surf & Spa Resort - not only to fully enjoy the wedding experience, but also for added convenience and peace of mind when it comes to safety and logistics.
