I'm bad at math. And what do I go do? I thought I was being funny and carded Alex when I met him (because he looked really young and at the time, felt strongly against dating younger guys) and calculated that he was only a year younger than me. Let's just say, that's not the case (the joke was on me) but it worked out in his favor. We went on our first date which lasted like 6 hours (longest dinner date of all time) and the rest, as they say, is history. Well, at least the last five years anyway. We're both grateful to God for leading us to each other as we've grown in ways we wouldn't have otherwise and for finding a love that while is hard work, is so worthwhile. We don't take that for granted. So all in all, we feel very blessed and are grateful for my weaknesses (math isn't that important, right?). And as the big day is fast approaching, we're looking forward to celebrating it with all of our dearly missed family and friends (and our new ones we've managed to make). Gotta say, we're pretty excited.
