We love your little ones, but this celebration is strictly adults only. All guests must be 21+ as the resort is adults-only.
First, book your flight into Cancun International Airport (CUN). From there, if you're staying at Almare, the resort will provide private transportation to the ferry port and a short boat ride to Isla Mujeres. It’s a seamless and scenic journey — we promise!
You can, but it’s not required. Most places on the island accept credit cards. Some local shops and restaurants may be cash-only, but USD is widely accepted if you don’t have pesos on hand.
Almare is not only stunning, but it's fully all-inclusive — food, drinks, and more are covered. It’ll actually help save you money during your stay and allows us all to spend more time together in paradise. Win-win.
Pack for sunshine and good times! Think swimwear, lightweight clothing, and a few elevated outfits for the wedding and any events. Isla Mujeres has a casual, laid-back vibe, but the wedding will be beach formal.
No worries — you’ll just need to arrange private transportation from Cancun Airport to the Puerto Juarez ferry terminal. There, you can purchase round-trip ferry tickets to Isla Mujeres. Once on the island, taxis and shuttles are available to take you to your hotel. Also, we can't stress enough, you need to make transportation arrangements before you land at the Cancun Airport. It is a very chaotic airport and pre-arranging transportation will alleviate a lot of stress.
We kindly ask for cash gifts only. We're saving for a honeymoon in Greece and Italy next year, and your contribution will help us make unforgettable memories together. Thank you for your generosity!
Yes — a valid passport is required for travel to Mexico. Be sure to double-check your expiration date! It should be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.
We recommend arriving at least one day before the wedding to settle in and relax. If you can stay a day or two after, even better!
Beach formal: stylish, elevated, and weather-appropriate. Think breathable fabrics, flowy dresses, and dress shirts or linen suits. Please avoid white — that color’s reserved for the bride
While it’s not required, we highly recommend it. Travel insurance can protect your investment in case of unexpected changes, delays, or cancellations. Better safe than sorry!
