Flight
Jerez has a local airport that will likely require you to fly Iberia Airlines via Madrid Barajas. The flight from Madrid to Jerez is about 45 minutes, and it's about a 4-hour drive / train ride from Madrid if you plan to see more of Spain on the way to Jerez. There are also plenty of taxis at the Jerez airport to take you to the city center (about 20 minutes).
Flight
Sevilla is a major airport about a 45 minutes - 1-hour drive from Jerez de la Frontera with connections to most European cities. There are trains and buses from Sevilla to Jerez as well. We highly recommend spending time in Sevilla if you haven't been before! Feel free to check out the 'Things to Do' page for more information.
Rental Car
There are several rental car options at the Jerez and Sevilla airports if you plan to drive and see more of Andalucía via Jerez de la Frontera. We recently used Hertz at the Jerez Airport and had a good experience, but there are also options like SIXT, Europcar and Enterprise.
Train
Spain has a great rail system called the RENFE. If you are planning to spend time in cities like Sevilla, Madrid, Barcelona and more, you can get to Jerez de la Frontera via the RENFE as well. Train travel is very easy and affordable in Spain.
