Yes, this is the same location as the wedding event. But it's a massive garden with MULTIPLE different gardens to explore! Whether you're looking to get a lot more steps in, explore and take photos of amazing views, or just sit in the grass and read, this garden is very tranquil and cozy. You go from the tall forest to the exotic flowers and waterfalls. If you stay at the hotel, access to the gardens are free the entire time (using your resort key)! We highly recommend you take the tram tour with multiple stop (pick up/drop off) locations. We love the visitor center's gift shop too! DOG FRIENDLY!
Looking for a small town, historical Oregon experience? Cruise on over to the historical district of Silverton. There you can shop in multiple antique stores, fun gift shops, grab some delicious food, stop in for a beer, get yourself some coffee or just have fun walking around and checking out the painted murals all around town.
Looking for a nice walk, some trail hiking, nature and epic photo opportunities? You should probably stop in here. They do have public restrooms and a visitor center w/nice little gift store. There's a trail you can even walk behind one of the big falls!
If you enjoy wine (like us), you have come to the right place. Within less than an hour you can visit multiple beautiful wineries, sampling delicious vino. Pinot noir fan? You are in heaven! If you're staying at the Oregon Garden Resort, show these local tasting rooms your room key and they give you free entry - Pudding River Wine Cellars, Silver Falls Vineyards and Vitis Ridge.
Love brand names (Nike, adidas, Coach, The North Face, Disney, Le Creuset, etc) but don't want to pay premium prices? Take full advantage of the no Oregon sales tax and shop your heart out at the outlet malls. This place is pretty big and has plenty of food and drink available to keep you going.
Silverton has it's very own covered bridge but there are more towards Cottage Grove, OR! Check out the link for a full map. Great history and photo opportunities.
Looking for a massage or facial? Right on the same property of the wedding resort location is a little day spa! Check out their website but book early. The spa itself is located in the main lodge, just past the restaurant. Sorry friends, looks like they don't do pedis or manis any longer. I'll update this if that changes closer to the event. Boooo!
The big popular festival is over in July but there's still other things to do here! No doubt, you'll capture great photos in the flowers.
Enjoy delicious fresh fruits and vegetables, along with family-friendly tours and activities at Bauman's Farm and Garden.
"FORE!!!"
Sometimes your dog needs to go for a walk in the park too! If you're staying at the Oregon Garden Resort, it is a dog friendly location. You just have to keep them on a leash and clean up after them.
This could be fun, for some! Teenagers need something to do? This should keep them out of trouble, or directly into trouble. Ha, ha!
Just in case you want to get wild and crazy while you're in town! No, I will not jump with you. : )
Looking to camp, bike ride, hike, Frisbee golf or just hang out by the water? This is a 45 minute drive from Oregon Garden Resort.
A little bit of fun for everyone! Mini golf, video games, play gym, batting cages and food on site. 40 minute drive from Oregon Garden Resort
