Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Smrithi Hariharan and Trenton Warren
We wish we could have these people by our sides at all times, but we'll settle for just our wedding day. ;) Scroll through to meet the folks who have our backs and our hearts. (PS - we highly recommend queueing up "Stand By Me" by Ben E. King while reading)

Laura Conboy

Maid of Honor

I first met Laura when we both lived on the same floor of our freshman year dorm and became a part of a friend group of amazing humans. Throughout the years, Laura and I became pretty inseparable (to the point where I was over at Laura's house more often than Laura's roommate, Jorie), and eventually even lived together in Manhattan post-college. While some may think our friendship peaked when we won the superlative of "Better Friends than SpongeBob and Patrick" in our business fraternity, we knew that our friendship would just keep growing and that we would always be there for each other. Laura is the best person with whom to share inside jokes, quote random tv episodes, have on your trivia team, and scream-sing along to ABBA. I wish everyone could have a Laura, and I'm eternally grateful that I do.

Preston Hiefield

Best Man

Man oh man. This guy is hilarious! Shout out to the University of Oregon. I could not imagine not going there and all of the experiences and people I would have missed out on. Preston would have been one of them and what a shame that would have been. Since freshman year in the dorms where we first met, Preston and I have shared numerous memories and laughed uncontrollably at the funny things in life. Duck football (all Duck sports as a matter of fact). Living together junior/senior year at the Prefontaine Apartments. CRAMMING in trips like Europe 2018 where we found ourselves. Those are priceless memories. This guy gets my weird sense of humor and goes along with it cause he’s just as goofy. It’s a great feeling when you can just be yourself with someone and Preston is that guy.

Mikaela Pope

Maid of Honor

I met Mikaela at our tennis academy in 8th grade. She was around the same level as I was in tennis, and was getting better by the second. At first, I viewed her as my rival/nemesis (even though she probably had no idea who I was); then, in 9th grade, my mom announced - to my horror - that I would be carpooling to and from tennis practice with Mikaela. Well the joke was on me, because once I got to chatting with Mikaela, we were such fast friends - and it's been that way since. No matter how much time passes, Mikaela and I can pick back up like it was just yesterday, and the hours fly by when we’re together. You would be hard-pressed to find a more fiercely loyal friend than Mikaela. She is never afraid to tell you how she feels; is the best concert buddy; is always up for a new activity; and will have your back through quite literally anything. 10/10 recommend Mikaela as a human and best friend.

Josh Uvero

Best Man

Shout out to the Eastlake Basketball Association. That’s where Josh and I first met as 4th graders who played on the same team. We continued that friendship into middle school, high school and even throughout college and to this day. Josh is a “fun guy.” That’s an inside joke cause he’s (we’re) a big Kawhi Leonard fan. We both LOVE sports. But in all seriousness Josh checks all the boxes as a friend. I could list them all but I wouldn’t have enough space with this character limit. But what stands out the most are his values. He’s such a humble guy and gives so much and asks so little in return. Let’s have a time at this wedding!

Caroline Keating

Bridesmaid

Since we met freshman year of college, Caroline and I talked about how we'd one day be each other's bridesmaids; and now, 10 years later (!!!), here we are! Caroline is one of the best people with whom to appreciate the simple things in life. We lived together for two years in college, and our favorite weekend ritual was getting daiquiris, going to The Fly past Audubon Park, and hanging up Caroline's hammock. We would then spend hours just sitting in a hammock and reading with spurts of talking and enjoying the sunshine. When we were at home, we'd spend a lot of our nights agreeing to watch a movie, then completely disagreeing as to *which* movie we wanted to watch, and we almost always ended up watching YouTube videos or just talking and laughing the whole night. While Caroline is always down for an adventure, my favorite times together were when we weren't actually *doing* anything - just enjoying life, food (usually district donuts), and friendship. If you ever need a day to pause and take in everything around you, Caroline is your gal!

Alex Gronotte

Groomsman

I don’t think I’ve met anyone who loves sports as much as Alex. He’s my sports bro. Former California State University San Marcos roommate in the dumpiest apartment we called “The Pit.” The name was well suited…yuck. Also former CSUSM track teammate. Go Cougars! But boy, do we have some funny, wild memories. We’re both just passionate about sports and dabble with a little sports betting for fun. 2016 Final Four NCAA basketball road trip to Phoenix, Arizona…man that was memorable. Too bad the Ducks lost. Las Vegas 2020 trip…I got so lucky on that parlay lol. Here’s to many more sports adventures!

Cheyenne Swanson

Bridesmaid

When you first see Cheyenne in person - with her cheekbones that could cut glass, her majestic stature that rivals Wonder Woman, and her natural competitiveness that makes it seem like she KNOWS she's going to win whatever game you're playing - it’s easy to be intimidated. What you *don’t* see outright is how gentle, caring, and easy to talk to she is. While Cheyenne and I spent many nights out at parties and bars, we somehow always made time for a “halftime” heart-to-heart in one of our dorm rooms. Cheyenne is the first person I cried in front of in college (which is a big deal, because I avoid crying like the plague). She is one of the most understanding humans who will find a way to turn your night around for the better. She is also the biggest hype girl out there. If you tell her you want something, she will be your #1 fan and biggest cheerleader along the way. So, while Cheyenne may seem intimidating, I can attest that spending time with her is like spending a day out in nature: it will give you comfort and warm your soul.

Bryan Deibel

Groomsman

This goober! I moved to Austin, TX in 2017 to work at FloSports. It was my first day of work and the door was locked…nice, off to a great start. Who opened the door from the inside for some rookie, locked out on his first day? It was Bryan. Phewwww. Didn’t know it at the time, but that guy, Bryan, just happened to be my new, work-together-every-single-day coworker. It’s been friendship ever since. Camping. Track and field chatter. Fredericksburg wine weekend. Just random adventures around Austin. You name it. He’s made Austin feel like home and it feels great living life together. We also share the same two personalities: we’re either young at heart or act like old souls! Lol

Cory Cacamo

Bridesman

Cory and I met freshman year of college, and we became much closer during our last two years there. What started out as a mutual love for/obsession with food and new restaurants quickly turned into meals with deep discussions about friendships of our past and present; personal growth throughout our lives; and many, MANY nights of blasting Taylor Swift together. Cory is not just the social media guru to whom I turn when I need to choose a picture to Instagram, or the mens' fashion expert whose opinion I ask when buying clothes for Trent; Cory is an amazing and loyal friend who reminds you to put yourself first, is there to hear about/support all the moments of his friends' lives (good and bad), and probably one of the single most dependable people you will ever meet.

Jeff Gain

Groomsman

Wow. We’ve come a long way since the day we first met. Throwback to 1999. First day of swimming class at Dolphin Beach in Chula Vista, CA. Just two super shy 5 year olds learning how to swim without floaties. Not sure how good we got at swimming but look at us now. From sports video game all nighters; to up-close-and-personal, meet-and-greet memories with the (former) San Diego Chargers (we’re talking Philip Rivers, Antonio Gates); Jeff has always been my “What’s Jeff doing right now, I need someone to chill with. Let me give him a call” kind of guy. You’ll now see Jeff cooking up a mean bowl of spaghetti while listening to Frank Sinatra. He’s all about that vintage Italian vibe and appreciates a nice glass of red or two while the pasta water is boiling.

Jenna Jones

Bridesmaid

Jenna and I met through Lizzie in our freshman year of college, and immediately hit it off. Jenna is one of the most open-minded, least judgmental people you will ever meet, with a bubbly and infectious personality to top it off. Throughout our years of friendship, she has always been incredibly easy to talk to about any subject under the sun (or moon, as evidenced by our many late night heart-to-hearts). While she doesn't judge anything you tell her, she is so talented at helping you see a different perspective and opening your own mind to all the possibilities of your situation. Jenna is also one of those people who makes friends everywhere she goes - she could talk to a wall and the wall would be hanging on to every word she said. She exudes love and warmth, and her personality is as cozy as her home (think reading chairs, tea, string lights, and lots of blankets). Whether you're staying out til 5am or binge-watching all 5 seasons of a new show, Jenna is a perfect person to have by your side.

Luke Froning

Groomsman

My MBA friend. My Europe travel buddy. Luke and I have so many great memories together. I am so glad to have met him at Cal State San Marcos in my MBA class. Luke made that year especially fun and it was so nice to have a close friend to pull all nighters with studying for an accelerated MBA. I’ll never forget my first time in Europe and all the funny, wild adventures we had. From staying up all night on a pub crawl (seeing the sunrise) in Denmark, followed by getting lost for 2 straight hours in Copenhagen trying to find our way home, we made some good memories we’ll never forget. Not to mention also taking a 10 hour bus ride on a double decker overnight with zero AC…to then wake up drenched in sweat. I don’t think him or I woke up even once on that ride 😂 Great times, great guy!

Lizzie Faulkner

Bridesmaid

Lizzie knows how to make everything an adventure - from taking a Megabus road trip to just driving a couple blocks to get a McDonald’s McFlurry - and that’s probably why she was voted “Life of the Party” in her 8th grade class (something we will never miss an opportunity to tell people about her). She is also one of the most handy and self-sufficient people I know - she comes up with creative solutions to almost every problem and can fix anything you hand her. While she's one of the most practical people I've met, she's also quick-witted, and just as quick to laugh. She loves to dance, scream-sing songs (especially if Blink-182 is on), and always ensures that everyone around her is having a blast. For the times when you're not having a blast, Lizzie will be there with wine and an open ear. She'll sit with you for as long as you need her, and is the best source of comfort when you're feeling down. Lizzie has been there for me since the day I met her, for trivial matters like killing cockroaches as well as total meltdowns when I was at my lowest. Through the GTs and the bad, I’ve loved and am grateful for every moment with her.

Matt Terhaar

Groomsman

Our friendship grows every year since I first met you in elementary school. Matt is someone I can always count on and who always has my back. He defines who a friend is. Live sports. Happy hours. Fishing. Golf. Nightlife. We’ve done it all in San Diego. I tried recruiting you to Texas a hundred times but you’re living your best life in SD! (And I’m stoked for you). Don’t know if anyone at the wedding can out drive this guy on the tee box, cause he can punch the golf ball deep into the fairway. I just wish I could hit the ball straight lol

Nicole August

Bridesmaid

Nicole is Trent's sister and favorite person, so naturally, I was terrified to meet her in case she didn't like me; however, when I met Nicole, she immediately made me feel at ease. She sat with me upstairs while I wrapped everyone's Christmas presents, and it felt just like I was hanging out with one of my close friends - I could just be myself. Now, after many more hangouts, Nicole continues to make me feel right at home. I’m in awe of how she knows what she wants and goes for it, without letting anything hold her back. No matter what's going on, I can always count on her to keep me up to date on the latest TikTok trends; to relate completely when Trent unleashes all his weird mannerisms; and to make everyone in the room laugh when we need it most.

Michael Cramer

Groomsman

My Texas road trip buddy! Mike is one of the most loyal, genuine guys I know. He always has your back. He’s the definition of a friend. He’s been my go-to-guy from the time we first met as coworkers at FloSports. “Hey Mike, let’s go watch a Longhorns game,” “Ok, I’m down, just tell me when.” He’s just down to explore the Great State of Texas, no matter what it is. We both share that pioneer, frontiersman spirit! I’ll never forget the time when we booked it to Bandera, TX and became cowboys for two nights at a Dude Ranch for my birthday. Peep the image, he’s on a live Longhorn!

Shelbi Annis

Bridesmaid

Shelbi is Trent’s cousin and one of the warmest people you’ll ever meet. We first bonded as she gave me some great makeup and nail tips that I desperately needed, but it quickly turned into us discussing our perfectionist tendencies and love of doing things correctly (also, why can’t some people just follow simple directions?). Shelbi cares unconditionally about her friends and family and will be there - whether it’s just to go to Target, or to listen to all your problems - for anyone who needs her. She truly wants those she cares about to succeed, and will do whatever she can to help make that happen. Shelbi will also most likely be the person I count on to make sure I don’t get any food or drink stains on my wedding dress 😂

Noah Peters

Groomsman

Wow!! Noah goes back the furthest. He’s the original. Throwback to 1997-98 to Children’s World Pre School. It was my first day and he’s the little squirt I chose to sit by. Glad I did because here we are 23-24 years later and he’s a groomy! Countless sleepovers growing up. Star Wars. Pokémon. Yugioh. Freshman year basketball teammates. High school track teammates. The list goes on and on. We have so many wonderful memories together. Every time we see each other, we relive them like they happened the day before.

Traci Annis

Bridesmaid

Traci is Trent’s cousin and was such a fast friend for me - we immediately bonded over our similar blunt approaches, sarcastic natures, and love of bottomless mimosas. Since then, I feel like I’ve learned something new and awesome about Traci every time I’ve been around her. She’s as resilient as they come; and while that resilience is apparent and can be intimidating, Traci is such a secret softie and loves large. She’ll listen to all your crazy stories, always give advice when you need it, and will be your #1 supporter - with bells, whistles, and wine in hand. 😘

Ryan Purcell

Groomsman

This “Shaver!” We have the same sense of humor. We have so many inside jokes, phrases, and made-up words that we constantly say and repeat and hardly anyone else gets it. It’s funny! “Cheeseburger!” Ryan’s like my brother. He’s the type of friend where you can get busy and caught up with life and not talk to each other to then pick it up like nothing happened. My next door neighbor in the freshman year dorm, I’m so glad you landed in McClain Hall at the University of Oregon cause I couldn’t imagine not meeting you. Crazy how one thing leads to another.
