Telluride is at a very high altitude, especially for those of you coming from sea level - the town of Telluride is located at 8,750 feet, San Sophia Overlook is 10,500, and Mountain Village is about 9,500. We recommend taking as much time to acclimate to the altitude as you can by arriving early, drinking plenty of water and wearing sunscreen while you’re here. If you are concerned about the altitude, please reach out to Hannah & Jesse and we can ensure extra safety measures so you can enjoy yourself while you're here!
Not at all! One of the best parts about visiting Telluride is that once you’ve made it to the area, the free gondola gets you pretty much everywhere you’d want to go. Most hotels have shuttles should you need a ride after the gondola closes at midnight or you can contact Tellurides.com for a private car.
Please RSVP on the site when you get your save the date and be sure to share your attendance for each event. We are trying to get an early read on attendance so we can ensure comfort of everyone and finalize any special details keeping our guests in mind.
The ceremony will be outside but the reception is inside. We’ll walk short distances from the gondola throughout the weekend. October can be somewhat unpredictable at this elevation. Our hope is for temperate fall weather. However, please come prepared for potential weather changes, dress warmly and wear shoes that can stand up to walking on grass and getting in and out of the gondola. The wedding will be black tie optional/formal - please see a some inspiration here -https://pin.it/4sObSOOPZ
