Gondola Ride
Gondola One (from Vail Village) & Eagle Bahn Gondola (from Lionshead) take you up the mountain for incredible views. Up top there are hiking & biking trails, mountain dining, and just peaceful spots to sit & take in the scenery.
Booth Falls Hike
Looking for a sweet little adventure? Booth Falls Trail is the perfect mountain hike to stretch your legs and enjoy some jaw-dropping views (and yes, there’s a waterfall reward at the halfway point!). You’ll wander through cool aspen trees, cross babbling streams, and hike up just enough to feel like a champ without breaking a sweat. If you’re feeling extra adventurous, you can keep going to Booth Lake for even more epic scenery. Pro tip: Parking near the trailhead is limited, so hop on the free Vail shuttle and let someone else do the driving
Gore Creek Path
Not quite ready to tackle a mountain hike? No worries! The Gore Creek Path is an easy, mostly flat trail that follows the creek right through town. Perfect for a relaxing morning walk, an afternoon wander, or even a casual bike ride!
Betty Ford Alpine Gardens
If you're looking for a peaceful stroll or just want to see something beautiful, check out the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens — the highest botanical garden in North America! It's full of colorful alpine plants, winding paths, waterfalls, and mountain views. Super relaxing, and it’s free to visit.
Vail Village
Vail Village is the heart and soul of Vail — a charming, pedestrian-friendly alpine village full of character, stunning mountain views, and plenty to keep everyone entertained during the wedding weekend.
Vail Village Oktoberfest
Vail Oktoberfest (Jonathan's favorite holiday!) falls the same weekend as the wedding, if you are staying Saturday we recommend checking it out! Prost!
