We're so excited to celebrate with you!

Skye and Esteban have basically known each other their entire lives. The swimming world is extremely small, which is exactly how they first met. They swam on the same team, different pools in 2006-2008 and then again at the same pool in 2009 before Esteban switched teams. In 2010, at the age of 14, they reconnected and the rest is history. Esteban asked Skye to be his girlfriend on 10/10/2010 at a pool (how fitting) and since then, they have grown up together, literally. They went to different high schools, swam on different teams, and ended up at different colleges for swimming but still stuck together despite the distance. After almost 10 years of dating, Esteban started talking about marriage. He would always tease Skye about a ring, a proposal, and marriage. There was no doubt they were committed to each other and both knew they would be married one day. He proposed on 08/28/2020 and shortly after, they decided they wanted a meaningful date for their wedding rather than picking a random one. Their wedding date is the same day Skye's parents got married in 1994. 28 years later, Esteban and Skye will be tying the knot on the same day and cannot wait for this celebration with their friends and family
