Did you know that we met on the dating app, Match.com? Our first conversation was about Avengers: Endgame. We met face-to-face on May 11, 2019 and new pretty darn quick that this was magic.

Our first road trip was to Alpine Valley in East Troy, WI to go see Dave Matthews Band in concert. Evie Monster Puptastic went with us. IT WAS AMAZING! We stopped at Nelson Creamer in Nelson, WI where Evie enjoyed fresh ice cream and we all binged on beef jerky.

By this time we knew we were going to get married. We were, what I called "pre-engaged." Dave had met my family on our road trip to Columbia, SC. Plans were already set for me to move to the farm in April. That evening, we were relaxing and discussing future plans. Dave excused himself to go upstairs. I thought it was just to go to the restroom. When he returned however, he dropped nervously to his knee in front of me and anxiously asked for my hand in marriage. I remember thinking, like this? Now? and that he looked so very nervous--as if I would have said "no" in any lifetime! Of course I said yes! He presented me with the most beautiful engagement ring I have ever seen. It was perfectly "me" because Dave knows me so very well.
