The wedding will take place in Seymour, TN, at The Ivey House. We fell in love with this venue and knew it would be perfect for us. The address is 1726 Burnett Station Rd, Seymour, TN 37865
Yes! One of the main reasons we chose this venue is that everything is conveniently located on-site. We will be holding the ceremony outside, and the reception will take place at the beautiful pavilion on site.
There is parking available; however, it is limited. We recommend carpooling if possible.
Due to the limited space at the Ivey house, you can only bring a plus-one if it states that on the invitation you received. No, free plus-one.
The wedding ceremony will be outdoors! Please keep in mind that it will be springtime in Tennessee and could be cooler this time of year. Also, the ceremony site is located at the bottom of a gravel hill. Wear shoes that will be comfortable; flats are recommended. There will be a golf cart for those who are unable to walk the hill, so grandparents and others with disabilities will be able to use that. This service is only for those who need it.
It will be mid-March, and the weather can be unpredictable this time of year. Be sure to check the weather in advance - especially, since the ceremony will be held OUTSIDE. The wedding is Garden Formal, so wear your favorite color.
