Funny enough, this story does not start with Grace and David, but it starts with their younger siblings, Xander and Gabby. Even though Xander and Gabby were only twelve years old at the time, they were matchmakers. In December of 2023 they were “dating”. After a few months, the Sivak and Soler families met after a theater performance one afternoon. The families hit it off immediately, so everyone went out to dinner together (except for David who was at home studying for a test). Even though he was not there, he was still a topic of conversation with his mom insisting that Grace and David should meet. After a few weeks, Xander had asked Grace if she could pick up Gabby on her way home from work, as they only lived a few blocks away. Sure enough, when she went to go get Gabby, Grace rang the doorbell and David answered. Some would say it was love at first sight, but if you ask David, he’ll say that “God delivered a gift right to his doorstep”. They hit it off instantly, becoming close friends, and then dating in January - only a month after they met. Then just seven months later, they got engaged.
