Travel Note
Remember to renew your passports if yours will expire before the trip! The US usually only accepts passports that are valid for 6 months *after* the travel date. If yours is set to expire, we recommend renewing ASAP as this process can take several months.
Flight
For guests travelling from the USA or Canada to Bodrum, you will likely have to take two flights to arrive in Bodrum. Visas from the USA and Canada are no longer required, so you do not have to plan to get a visa. We recommend booking your flights ASAP, but at a minimum of 2-4 months in advance, as international flights can get expensive the closer to the date! Many flight hubs in the USA and Canada have direct flights to Istanbul, which will be the first leg of your flight. The second leg of your flight will typically be through Turkish Airlines, which is the recommended airline to fly with from Istanbul to Bodrum for the domestic leg.
Travel Note
Upon landing at the Bodrum airport, you will need to take ground transportation to your hotel. From the airport to the hotel, the drive should take about 50 minutes to 1 hour. Please reach out to us and let us know where you are staying if it is not in the Turkbuku area so we can arrange for shuttle services. Taxi is the primary mode of transportation in Bodrum, as Uber/Lyft do not exist. It is easy to call taxis in the Turkbuku area, and there should be no problem getting around.
House Or Rental
Note: We have recently updated this to include the current booking process. As of now, many nearby hotels are available to book. Please check the below link on a guide for how to book. In all of Bodrum along the coast of the Aegean Sea, there are many hotel and AirBnb options as the region is a popular travel destination for people across the world. It is recommended that you stay nearby the venue for easier coordination and travel for the events and activities, but if you do want to stay somewhere else there isn't a shortage of options anywhere. We recommend booking your hotel ASAP as most hotels offer an early reservation discount and prices increase as we get closer to the date. Guests staying elsewhere are welcome to come to Flamm at any point to visit their beach club for no cover charge. If you decide to book outside the city and would like to know if the area is good to stay in, please reach out to us and we could tell you what the area is like. Please keep in mind that traffic can get bad in the afternoon, so if you decide to stay elsewhere, please plan accordingly when calling a taxi.
