Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

If you are able to RSVP when you receive your invite, that would be best! To RSVP, simply click the RSVP tab and type your first and last name. If not, please kindly RSVP by May 31, 2025.

Question

When should I book travel?

Answer

We recommend booking your flight at a minimum of 2-4 months in advance as international flights can get expensive closer to the date! When it comes to flights, earlier is better as the prices do not typically go down much since September is at the tail end of the high season. For hotels, earlier is typically better and the best prices will be booked earlier.

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

After reaching out to hotels, they do not create room blocks in the same way as the USA. We did not want to commit our guests to a single hotel by booking the entire hotel, so in order to allow for flexibility for you to control the pricing of your rooms, we opted to rather create a guide on booking lodging and will assist you in booking if you need. Do not hesitate to reach out to Sinem or I if you have any questions or concerns, we can ensure that the booking process is smooth and do what we can to facilitate. Our numbers are available on the FAQs page. Please check out our hotel guide at: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1PBpgUdrD4OK4zrgrjEz3mIPAnjIQjKr95hMO0A4-Lmg/edit?tab=t.0

Question

What is Bodrum like?

Answer

Situated on Turkey's southwestern coast along the Aegean Sea, this picturesque town is known for its vibrant blue waters, whitewashed buildings, and charming cobblestone streets. It is a coastal beach town, where guests can vacation in various resorts and go to the beach, eat incredible Mediterranean food, shop locally, and more.

Question

I'm trying to figure out what to do for the rest of the trip. Any suggestions?

Answer

There are tons of things to do in Türkiye, from restaurants and shopping to historical sites to beach vacations. If you would like a guide on travel, check out the travel guide written by Burcu Akinci, Sinem's mom. It outlines some of the most fun things to do and I (Josh) can attest these are amazing sights to see as they brought me to see these on my first trip to Türkiye! If you want to extend your trip to other countries, Istanbul is a flight hub for most of that region of the world. Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Middle East are all possible travel destinations. Sinem and I recently went from Istanbul to Malta and really enjoyed Malta as a destination for the friendly people and the historical charm!
