In general, what should I expect?
Answer
Ryan and Jaida are planning an intimate, non-traditional wedding with a Vintage Valentine's Day theme. We will have a short Ceremony followed by Cocktail Hour and a Reception. These will all be held in the same area with a room flip between the ceremony and cocktail hour. You will be assigned a seat when you arrive. We ask that you stay in your seats for the duration of the Ceremony, but feel free to move around after Cocktail Hour starts! There will be snacks and a buffet-style dinner along with drinks. For entertainment, the couple has board games, a projector screen with Nintendo games, and a very special "type" of photobooth!

Yes, PLEASE let us know any dietary restrictions and/or allergies when you RSVP.

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP by 8/23/2025. If we do not receive an answer by this date, we will count you as "Not able to attend."

What should I wear?
Answer
See our "Attire" tab for outfit inspiration! In general, we want everyone to wear something they feel comfortable in, no pressure! That being said... we do love a good theme! Pinks, reds, hearts, and roses. Anything that makes you think "Valentines Sweetheart Dance." <3 Keep it simple... or have fun with it! As for what NOT to wear: The color blue or anything that could be perceived as a white dress - you know better, haha!

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We have tried our very best to ensure everyone will have familiar company at our wedding. Please do not bring any guests that were not listed on your invitation unless you have explicitly received a plus one.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We love your kids, promise! However, we are asking that any child not listed on an invitation stay at home. With a babysitter, of course.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please plan to arrive at the venue no later than 5:00pm. We will begin the ceremony at 5:30pm, so this should give plenty of time to account for traffic, parking, and finding your seat! If you are not seated by 5:30pm, we ask that you kindly wait outside the reception room doors until the ceremony is over.

What is the parking situation?
Answer
Understory has a parking lot, and there is street parking along Neil Avenue. There is also valet parking - just be sure to tell the attendant that you are attending the Shuster-Conley wedding. Don't get towed!

Free beer?
Answer
Yes, free beer… and cocktails. Drink responsibly, tip recklessly! We would like to avoid the “bodily fluids” charge. Please arrange for a DD or utilize our Uber voucher if you plan on enjoying the bar!

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony?
Answer
There will be no shuttles. However, if you answer "yes" when asked if you will be using Uber on your RSVP, you will be receiving an email from us with a $30 voucher code to help you get to and from the venue.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
We do not have a reserved room block, but there are plenty of hotel options just 5 minutes away on Olentangy River Rd.
