We are looking forward to getting married following the traditions of our Jewish and Catholic faiths. We will be hold both ceremonies at Holy Wisdom Monastery. A program will be provided detailing the traditions of each faith so our guests can understand and participate.
The dress code is semi-formal.
Yes! The ceremony and the reception venues both have ample parking.
Guests will need to provide their own transportation to and from the ceremony at Holy Wisdom Monastery. Shuttles will be provided at the two hotels where we have booked room blocks (see Travel & Hotels page for more details). The reception is about a 20 minute drive from downtown Madison if guests would prefer to drive themselves.
We've put together a list of our favorite spots and activities to enjoy around the city on our Things to do Page! Find places to eat and drink and more!
As we are getting married on a Sunday, some may be wondering if our ceremony will fulfill their obligation to attend mass. Due to the dual nature of our ceremony, we will not be offering communion. However, there are many options in and around Madison to attend mass on Sunday morning before our ceremony begins. For those staying downtown, St. Patrick's and St. Paul's on the UW campus are good options, while those staying on the east side may want to consider St. Bernard or St. Dennis. Please consult each respective parish's website for mass times.
Our wedding is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
While kids are welcome at the ceremony, our wedding reception is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time, so you can celebrate with us.
