The wedding venue is located at Shona's home in Perth (Gillies Corners – a hamlet of Perth). You are hosted by Shona's parents: Kathy, Geoff, and JP's mom: Sherri Trojan.

Is there any parking avaliable at the venue?

Answer

Parking for the venue will be located at 3260 McLachlin Road (400m from the venue). Signs and lights will be obvious for parking!

Is there a shuttle service provided?

Answer

A shuttle will depart from Comfort Inn in Carleton Place at 3:30 p.m on August 31, 2025. The return shuttle 11:30pm.

Where are you registered, and what type of gifts would you prefer?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. If you wish to honor us with a gift, we kindly ask for cash contributions towards our honeymoon or future home. These gifts would allow us to build a solid foundation for our future together. Thank you for your generosity and consideration!

Are photos allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! It is encourage anyone attending the wedding to take as many photos as you want. If you wish, the couple will be providing a QR code to sink everyone's pictures into an album.

Are there any hotel accomodations nearby?

Answer

Yes, there are! These options can be found on the travel section of this wedding website. If you prefer to stay at an Airbnb or have a bed and breakfast, there are plenty of fabulous options.

Where is the wedding venue?

Answer

This wedding will be hosted at Shona's home in Gillies Corners, Ontario. Gillies Corners is a beautiful secluded area 45 minutes to 1 hour from Ottawa and located in the middle of three small townships (Perth, Smith Falls, and Carleton Place).

Is a car service such as Uber or Lyft easily accesible?

Answer

No, a car service is not easily accessible in Gillies Corners. Advanced planning must be made to accommodate those arriving from outside the country or province. To book a taxi, call this number: 613-283-1441 (Access Taxi Service).

Should I take the time to explore Ottawa and Gatineau?

Answer

Yes absolutely! The bride will be putting together a more in-depth visitor recommendation itinerary. The capital region of Canada has a lot to offer, and Shona is very excited to show off her hometown! Thank you in advance to those traveling from so far to attend this wedding!
