Question

How are you determining if your wedding will move forward in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic?

Answer

We continue to closely follow the guidance set forth by Dr. Fauci and the U.S. Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). At this time, we are hopeful that the vaccination rollout in 2021 will allow us to move forward with our Labor Day 2021 wedding weekend; however, if anything should change, we'll be sure to post details here. We would ask that guests get vaccinated prior to attending.

What is your address & How do you prefer to receive packages?

Answer

Thank you so much for your generosity! Because we live just off a very busy street in Chicago, we would love to receive package tracking numbers for any off-registry packages shipped to our address. Please feel free to reach out to us via phone or email, and we'll be happy to share our address with you directly.

Thank you for asking! Your presence at our wedding is our greatest gift (we are so excited to hug you after the last 18 months!) but you can also see our registry here: https://www.zola.com/wedding/shimmelduszawedding/registry You may notice that there aren't many tangible items, which is intentional; as we're grateful to be fairly well established in our life together, we would be deeply grateful to receive cash donations towards our honeymoon and for us to use as we embark on the next stage of our family together.
