Maid of Honor
Britt has been my best friend, big sister, partner in crime, and travel buddy since 2005. As her family’s adopted step-child, we’ve spent many years together traveling across most of the continental U.S to countless cities, concerts, beaches, and obscure roadside attractions. We have been on so many adventures together over the years and I am so thankful she now gets to join on one of my life’s greatest adventures!
Best Man
Kyle is my oldest friend. For over 20 years we've been cracking awful jokes, having deep conversations, and making amazing memories. Kyle is one of those friends that you have a secret language with. To everyone else it is impossible to follow, but to us it's just communication. Kyle is loyal, silly, and caring. I can honestly say that there were points in my life that may not have gone they did without Kyle's friendship and I am overjoyed to have him stand next to me as I say my vows.
Matron of Honor
Katherine is my oldest friend (over 20 years, if you can believe it!) and the sister I never had! We have shared so many fun memories as kids, teenagers, adults, and now as old married ladies. I can always count on Kat to keep my priorities and goals in check. As the Golden Girls theme song says, thank you for being a friend!
Groomsman
Although we knew of each other for many years prior, Jordan and I became more or less inseparable after high school. Jordan and I have always had the kind of relationship that can go months without a single word and then pick up right back where we left off. Kind-hearted and fiercely loyal, Jordan is one of the most patient people I know.
Bridesmaid
Laura is one of the most fiercely loyal, thoughtful, and hilarious people that I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. We originally bonded over cookie dough ice cream and cat videos, but now she is an integral part of my life. She is my own personal Leslie Knope and is always putting others needs before hers. I'm so thankful to have her in my life!
Groomsman
Juan and I met through our love of cars and racing. We quickly became friends and we spent a lot of time hanging out, driving, and I even worked for him a few times. I believe that every person needs that one friend that gives you some tough love and really pushes you to move forward, and I am thankful that Juan is that friend for me. He's loyal, truthful, and always gives me a different perspective to consider. I can't wait to have him on my side as Colleen and I say "I Do".
Bridesmaid
Courtney and I met my senior year of college as random roommates. Our relationship began as a roomies, then coworkers, and eventually blossomed into soul sisters who bond over cooking/baking, The Bachelor, and Cards Against Humanity. She's one of my favorite people in the world and always makes me laugh!
Groomsman
Have you ever met someone and within two or three interactions known that you would be the best of friends? That person is Chad. Hardworking and dependable, Chad and I first met as co-workers at Academy. After leaving for greener pastures, Chad decided to come along and we've never looked back. Chad is the newest addition to my inner circle but I feel like we've been friends since we were kids.
Bridesmaid
Ashley and I became close friends through church and high school and have grown even closer over time. Most of our high school years were spent at her parents' house watching movies, cooking, and getting into wild shenanigans. As we’ve grown into actual functioning adults, we still share the same goofy sense of humor and weird inside jokes.
Groomsman
The eldest of Colleen's brothers, Will and I share some major similarities. We are great talkers and always helpful. The hardest part about being in a room with us: getting a word in edgewise. I am very thankful and excited to have Will standing alongside me on our big day.
Bridesmaid
Mal and I became friends in high school through Beta club, campaigning for homecoming court, and tormenting our physics teacher (sorry Mrs. O). As we've grown older, we've become even closer friends through our shared values, music taste, love for cats, and overall great senses of humor.
Groomsman
The second of Colleen's brothers, David and Colleen are two peas in a pod. David is one of, if not the most, genuine people you might ever meet. He is warm, helpful, kind, and played a pivotal role in shaping who Colleen is today. He was also the very first of Colleen's family members that I met. Thankfully, he gave me his stamp of approval and I am proud to have him as one of my groomsmen.
Bridesmaid
Teanna is Jake’s older sister and has turned into one of my closest friends! We have had countless nights full of wine, cookies, and laughter over the last several years and I look forward to enjoying many more. I’m so happy that I get to call her my sister in a few short months.
Groomsman
Jonathan is my second oldest brother, and the reason that my mother and step-father met. If there is a problem, chances are Jonathan knows how to fix it. He has always been there to encourage me, give advice, and spread the brotherly love when I needed it most. Thanks for always having my back Jon!
Flower Girl
Bella Maye is my niece and little sidekick! She is a ball of energy and is never afraid to tell you what's on her mind. I can't wait to see her in her pretty dress!
Flower Girl
Maddy is the youngest of my four nieces. While she was skeptical of me at first, I quickly won her over when we found a shared love of watching Curious George together. We are excited to have her as our flower girl!
Ring Bearer
Clayton is my nephew and little buddy for almost 7 years! I have so many fun memories with Clayton as he's grown up, so I can't wait to add this one to the list.
Usher
Little John (or LJ, as Jake calls him) is Colleen's not-so-little-anymore nephew. Colleen spent many summers and spring breaks with John at the pool, the beach, and watching Finding Nemo over and over and over again. As John has grown up, we've grown even closer and I'm so thankful he will be an usher in our wedding.
Usher
Bryce is my youngest brother, but he is also my closest. I still remember him as a small boy that didn't like broccoli and was a crack shot with a Nerf blaster. From following my footsteps to carving his own path Bryce has always been a source of pride and companionship for me. And I am extremely excited to have his as one of our ushers.
Usher
Tim is the oldest son of my sister Christina and my first nephew. I remember how excited I was to be an uncle the first time I met him. I remember him first learning how to talk, he loved to say no to everything. I remember the small kid very quickly becoming the stout young man, tough but gentle and kind. Colleen and I are honored and happy to Tim as one of our ushers for this wonderful occasion.
Officiant
From coworkers to close friends after college, Tyler has been a great friend to Colleen for 10 years. When Jake and Colleen started dating, Tyler and Jake hit it off from the beginning and have been best buds ever since. We knew we wanted Tyler to be in our wedding, so when we came up with the idea to ask him to officiate, we were so happy when he agreed! We are honored to have one of our best friends marry us.
