Enchanted Rock is the perfect place for a nice hike in the beautiful Texas weather. Located approximately 18 miles north of Fredericksburg, Enchanted Rock is open 7 days a week year-round, except for public hunting which occurs several times in the fall and winter months. The park is open for camping, picnicking, 8.4 miles of hiking trails, nature trail, interpretive exhibits, rock climbing, watchable wildlife, as well as a gift store. Please note that all trails close at sunset, except the Loop Trail. Check the website for closure information when the park reaches capacity.

Luckenbach Texas, where "Everybody's Somebody", was established as a trading post in 1849.
