Answer

Great question! Jake's last name is pronounced "Shur-owse" (rhymes with mouse). Our hashtag is intended to be a play on "House Party" :)

What's the plan with COVID?

Answer

Short answer: we don't know yet! We are planning our wedding and do not intend to postpone at this time. Ideally, we will be able to invite 125 guests, but of course we will remain flexible with these numbers and reassess our plans during the Summer. If we are not able to invite all 125 guests to our wedding, we look forward to celebrating with you when life returns to normal!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be outdoors under an open-air pavilion. We are hoping for great weather that day!

Are kids invited?

Answer

This is adults-only soiree, so unfortunately only the nieces and nephews of the bride and groom will be attending.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

The wedding will be held outdoors and we want you to be comfortable, so wear comfortable attire and bring your dancing shoes! For ladies, you can wear cocktail dresses (mini or maxi), dressy jumpsuits, jean jacket with a cute floral dress, the options are endless! For gentlemen, feel free to come in a suit, jacket and slacks, button-up shirts (tie optional) with pants, or a blazer with nice jeans. November in Texas can be unpredictable, so we would advise you bring a jacket in case it's chilly :)
