If you’re staying at the resort, be sure to advantage of a number of amenities, including: canoe and kayak rentals, outdoor sports, and spa. You can’t go wrong hanging out at the beach (we recommend water shoes given all the shells!) or the two pools.

The front desk also has information about a variety of boat tours in the Sanibel-Captiva area.

'Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa

Captiva and Sanibel (the island before Captiva, which you’ll drive through to get to the resort) are known for their shells.

Shelling

Drive back to the mainland and you’ll find an outlet mall with any shopping you might want to do.
