Jenn was at Centre College in Kentucky as a volunteer for the Vice Presidential debate (Biden v. Ryan). Bill, an alum of Centre, was working at C-SPAN (in D.C.) monitoring Twitter interactions on the ground for the event. They started “following” each other and the rest is history.

Jenn was out of town for the weekend and Bill, who had planned to propose a few weeks later at the beach, suddenly found himself itching to pop the question. Jenn returned home to a message on the wall - not the new artwork Bill said he wanted to show her.
