Meg & Matt love Gideon Owen! They have a "serve yourself" wine tasting room, as well as a full restaurant menu and outdoor patio in the vineyard.
An awesome brewery on a beautiful 60-acre farm with indoor/outdoor seating!! Meg's favorite brew is the "old ohio" and Matt's is "legitimate swells".
A bunch of cool spots all on the same property! You can grab a bite at Bar & Table, sip cocktails at The Coop, or swing by the farm stand to eat, sip, and shop local goodies.
Matt and Meg went to the African Safari drive-through in 2019 (per Meg's request, of course) and they had a LOT of good laughs. Please know that your car will get dirty from the animals. But fear not, there is a carwash just across the street (as Matt quickly discovered afterwards).
You can take a ferry ("The Miller" or "Jet Express") to Ohio's little island for some shopping, mini-golf, bar hopping and so much more! Meg just asks that you please do NOT go on their wedding day (Saturday, June 20th). The ferries can be unreliable with timing and the island will be BUSY because it is peak season!!! Thank you :)
