What is the image above?

Answer

The image above showcases Catawba Island Club (CIC), the beautiful venue for both our ceremony and reception! The yellow box marks the designated guest parking lot, while the red box highlights our celebration spaces - "The Front Lawn" and "The Pavilion." The green box marks "The Harbour Room," which is where our welcome drinks will take place on Friday night. If you need directions upon arrival, any CIC employee on the premises will be happy to point you in the right direction!

What time will the shuttle pick me up from the Hampton Inn Suites?

Answer

The “Swig” shuttle from the Hampton Inn and Suites to CIC will have two departure times on the way to the ceremony. It will depart at 2:45pm and again at 3:00pm to get you there in time for the prompt ceremony start time of 3:30pm. Please take the earlier shuttle, if possible, to ensure there is enough space for everyone to get to CIC! At the end of the night, the shuttle will depart from CIC at 11:00pm and 11:15pm to take you back to the Hampton Inn Suites. Thank you for your patience and understanding in advance!

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

After turning onto Beachclub Road, drive for about two minutes until you reach the designated guest parking lot on the left (see the yellow box on the image above). Please note that parking in front of the club is reserved for members only. From the guest lot, it's a pleasant 3-4 minute walk past the marina to the ceremony and reception site. For guests needing additional assistance, golf carts will run back and forth to provide transportation.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same venue?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held at Catawba Island Club (4235 E Beachclub Road, Port Clinton, OH 43452).

What is the dress code for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal - this includes cocktail to floor-length dresses, suits, button-ups, or a polo with a sports coat. The most important thing to us is that you feel comfortable and confident while looking great for our big day (and for the many cherished photos!). The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, while the reception will be held in a structured tent.

Can I bring my kids?

We adore your little ones, but we have chosen to keep our wedding ceremony and reception an adults-only celebration. We hope you can take this opportunity to enjoy a special date night while we dance the night away! Thank you for understanding - we can't wait to celebrate with you.

Please see the Travel & Hotels tab for more detailed information. We have a hotel block at The Hampton Inn (57 NE Catawba Rd, Port Clinton, OH 43452), about 10 minutes away from CIC. We also linked a few other hotels under the "Travel & Hotels" tab that would be great options!
