How will COVID-19 impact the wedding?

Answer

We politely request that our guests either are vaccinated against COVID-19 or take a PCR test within 72 hours of our wedding. Please email your negative COVID test to sheltonschwartzwedding@gmail.com. If you need help finding a testing location in Austin, please email us!

What's the weather like in Austin, Texas in March?

Answer

Highs in the 70s, lows in the 50s! Weather permitting, our ceremony will take place outside and our reception indoors.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire, please. Leave the tuxes at home and make sure to wear shoes you can dance in :)

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

What's the best way to get to the venue?

Answer

We will provide shuttles to and from the venue from the Hilton Austin! Please check the Travel page for details. If you decide to drive or Uber/Lyft to the venue, please arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony to ensure festivities start on time. Parking is abundant and free!

Should I rent a car?

Answer

You definitely don't need to! We are providing transportation to and from the venue, Ubers/Lyfts are usually easy to grab, and walking around downtown Austin is our favorite way to explore the city.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a room block at the Hilton Austin - please see the travel page for details. Please book your hotel as soon as possible, but no later than Feb. 2, 2022. Regardless of where you decide to stay, we recommend our guests book lodging ASAP, as there's always a festival happening in Austin :)

Answer

We love your kids, but our wedding will be an adults-only event. For anyone traveling with their children, please let us know if you need help finding sitters in the area!
