We're Getting Married!

Eric and Lauren first matched on the dating app, Bumble. They messaged for a while with Lauren's opening line a simple "Eric!". With that solid intro, it was an absolute shock to her that he never asked her out, but fate intervened and a few weeks later, they matched again on a different dating app called Hinge. This time, Eric wasn't going to let the opportunity pass him by, so he asked Lauren to grab a drink and catch a movie. The movie chosen was THE LOBSTER - which for those of you who haven't seen it, says some very questionable things about love. But sparks were flying and the rest, as they say, is history.

Eric suggested a trip to Hawaii the week of July 4, 2019, and then proceeded to plan the entire trip. This was a bit of a tell for Lauren, as she usually plans their travel. They stayed at the Grand Wailea on Maui and the evening of their first day on the island, Eric suggested they grab a drink by the pool. He then suggested a walk on the beach - the sun was starting to set and while neither Lauren nor Eric are really beach people (don't ask why they chose Hawaii), the setting was gorgeous. They walked for a bit, found a quiet spot, and Eric got down on one knee.
