Shellsy and Jack’s love story started in December 2020. Their first date—a socially distanced walk around the Back Bay—was simple but meaningful. The conversation was easy, and they both felt an instant connection. Jack wanted to kiss Shellsy, but in true pandemic-era fashion, figured that might have to wait. After spending the holidays with their families, Jack took Shellsy on a date to Circle Hook Fish Company, where he finally got that long-awaited first kiss. From there, they quickly started doing everything together. Jack impressed Shellsy early on with his beach volleyball skills (a surefire way to her heart), and Shellsy impressed Jack by confidently paddling out in the surf lineup to catch waves. Their relationship has deepened on a foundation of faith, trust, and shared values. Their love isn’t just about laughter and adventure—though there's plenty of that too—but also about showing up for each other through life’s challenges. Through it all, they’ve remained each other’s biggest supporters, best friends, and favorite person to laugh with. Together, they’ve built a life full of beach days, travel adventures, golf rounds, and quiet, meaningful moments. In May 2025, during a family trip to Ireland, Jack surprised Shellsy by asking for her hand in marriage at the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher. Now, they can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by their friends and family!
