You can click the RSVP tab above to submit your RSVP any time.

Question

Answer

The sooner, the better! Please RSVP no later than August 3, 2026.

Question

What if I forget to RSVP in time?

Answer

Unfortunately, if you do not RSVP by August 3, 2026, you will be marked as “not attending.” We would love to celebrate with you; however, we must provide an exact guest count to our venue and caterers and therefore cannot accept any late RSVPs after August 3, 2026.

Question

If I’m flying, which airport should I fly into?

Answer

Dahlonega, Georgia is about an hour and a half drive north from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International airport, and is about a two hour drive south from the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving in Dahlonega by Friday, October 2nd, 2026, if you wish to attend the welcome party that night at 7 PM. The hotel block at the Holiday Inn includes Friday and Saturday in the discounted rate!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

For your convenience, a block of rooms has been reserved at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dahlonega University Area, located at 32 East Main Street, Dahlonega, GA 30533. This hotel is walkable to a lot of downtown restaurants, bars, and shops, including the welcome party location on Friday, October 2nd, 2026. Please book via phone at 800-465-4329. Please reference the “Koppenhofer Bowman Wedding” and the “Holiday Inn Express Dahlonega” when booking by phone to secure the discounted rate, or use the following link: https://www.ihg.com/redirect?path=rates&brandCode=EX&localeCode=en&regionCode=1&hotelCode=ATLDA&checkInDate=02&checkInMonthYear=092026&checkOutDate=04&checkOutMonthYear=092026&_PMID=99801505&GPC=KOP&cn=no&adjustMonth=false&showApp=true&monthIndex=00 Please note that the discounted rates are in effect for the dates 10/2/26 – 10/4/26. Please note that your stay must be booked prior to 5:00 PM on the cut off date of 9/2/26, in order to receive the discounted rate. However, if you prefer to stay at any number of the Airbnbs, VRBOs, bed and breakfasts, or local inns in the area, that is also perfectly okay! The wedding party will be staying at a VRBO in the area. Just please note that the Holiday Inn is walkable to the welcome party location on 10/2/26, and the couple will be providing shuttles from the Holiday Inn to and from the wedding location on 10/3/26. The hotel only allowed us to do blocks of 10 rooms at a time, and once 10 are booked, another 10 rooms open up. There are only 75 rooms total at the Holiday Inn, so please book as soon as you can!

Question

How do I get to the welcome party?

Answer

There will be a welcome party on Friday, October 2nd, 2026 from 7 PM to 10 PM at the Dahlonega Market Place, located at 100 Public Square North, Dahlonega, GA 30533. Please note that no food with be served at the welcome party, as the wedding party and immediate family will be coming from the rehearsal dinner. Please plan accordingly! There will be an open bar serving wine and beer at the welcome party. Please note that this venue is only two blocks from the Holiday Inn. Please also note that this venue is on the second floor, and does not have an elevator, so it is unfortunately not handicap accessible.

Question

How do I get to the wedding ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are being held at Blue Mountain Vineyards, located at 184 Turkey Hill, Dahlonega, GA 30533. The ceremony will begin at 3:00 PM on October 3, 2026. Cocktail hour will be from 3:30 – 4:30 PM, and the reception from 4:30 PM – 10:30 PM. Last call is at 9:15 PM, for the couple to "send off" at 10 PM. All guests must be off property by 10:30 PM. The couple has arranged for two 14-passenger vans to take guests to and from the Holiday Inn downtown and the wedding at Blue Mountain Vineyards on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026. The ceremony will begin at 3 PM. We are still firming up details, but the likely pick-up times at the Holiday Inn to head to Blue Mountain Vineyards are at 1:30, 2, and 2:30. The likely pick-up times at Blue Mountain Vineyards to return to the Holiday Inn are at 9, 9:30, and 10. Please note that the last round of buses leaving at 10:30 PM will be for the wedding party and immediate family only, and will not go to the Holiday Inn. All guests must be off property by 10:30 PM. Please note that if you miss the bus, or the bus becomes too full, we cannot guarantee your transportation. Some Ubers and Lyfts may be available in the area, as well as some local cab services, including: Mama Taxi, phone number 706-482-8539, Kim's Trips, phone number 470-593-7555, Chris Nonnemaker, phone number 706-200-6073, and Bill Bradley, phone number 678-710-5244. Please book your ride in advance! Please note that the buses will only be taking guests to and from the Holiday Inn, other than the wedding party and immediate family members. If you elect to stay at any number of inns, bed and breakfasts, VRBOs, or Airbnbs in the area, that is perfectly fine, however, we cannot provide your transportation. There will also be ample parking for any guests who would prefer to drive themselves. The wedding venue is fairly handicap accessible, with a golf cart driver who is able to assist guests with getting to the ceremony and reception locations.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We highly recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes before our 3 PM ceremony start time on October 3, 2026, or by 2:30 PM. This gives us enough time to stay on schedule and help any guests that may need extra assistance finding their seat. The last shuttle from the Holiday Inn will (likely) arrive at 2:45 PM - we are still firming up details!

Question

Are children invited to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We politely request that no children under the age of 12 attend the ceremony or reception. All children 12 and over who have been invited will have their names appear on the invitation alongside their parents. We love your little ones, but we wanted as many adults in our lives to attend our wedding as possible, and wanted to avoid any disruptions on our big day. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about this and thank you in advance for understanding!

Question

Can I bring a date or a plus one?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a “plus one,” their name will appear on the invitation alongside yours, or it will say “and guest.” You must RSVP for each person by August 3, 2026 to secure attendance.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! Cocktail attire to the welcome party and wedding, please. Please free to wear any color you like (other than white!) Please note that the ceremony on 10/3/26 will be held outside, and reception mixed inside/outside. Dahlonega in early October could be very warm, or very cool, so please bring a light jacket/layer if you are prone to getting cold. It’s Georgia, so it’s hot, but it is also the mountains in fall. Could go either way! The welcome party on 10/2/26 will be held fully indoors.

Question

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that our ceremony is “unplugged” and that phones and cameras are put away. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture our special day! However, we can’t wait to take pictures with you during the cocktail hour and reception!

Question

Can I share photos I take on social media?

Answer

Of course! We just remind guests that we would like our ceremony to be "unplugged," but welcome photos/videos during cocktail hour and the reception, and those can absolutely be posted on social media.

Question

What's the bar situation?

Answer

There will be an open bar serving wine and beer only at the welcome party on Friday, 10/2/26. There will be an open bar serving wine, beer, and liquor, as well as non-alcoholic options, at the wedding reception on 10/3/26. At both events, the couple has tipped the bartenders well in advance; however, we highly encourage guests to bring cash to “tip on top” should they want to do so. Tip jars will be at the bar(s). Sheldon is a former bartender herself, so we encourage excessive tipping to thank our bartenders!

Question

What's the food situation?

Answer

No food will be served at the welcome party on 10/2/26. Please plan accordingly! Buffet-style dinner will be served at the wedding reception on 10/3/26. Please let the bride or groom know by August 3, 2026, if you or your "plus one" have any dietary restrictions, particularly if you are vegan or vegetarian. Our catering company is City BBQ, a popular BBQ chain in the area, but a select number of vegan/vegetarian options will be provided for those who indicate their need. If you do not RSVP and indicate your dietary restrictions to the bride or groom by August 3, 2026, we will not be able to accommodate you.

Question

What is the timeline for the weekend?

Answer

Please see the "Schedule" tab above for the full weekend schedule! There will be a welcome party on Friday, October 2nd, 2026 from 7 PM to 10 PM at the Dahlonega Market Place, located at 100 Public Square North, Dahlonega, GA 30533. The wedding ceremony will be held at Blue Mountain Vineyards, located at 184 Turkey Hill, Dahlonega, GA 30533, on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026 at 3 PM. We strongly recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before our 3 PM ceremony start time, or by 2:30 PM. A cocktail hour will follow from 3:30 - 4:30 PM, and then the reception, dinner, and drinks from 4:30 - 10:30 PM, all at the same location.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Please see the "Registry" tab above. While we have chosen some select meaningful items and experiences that we would love to have in our next chapter, we have primarily created a Honeymoon Fund and a House Fund which we prefer guests to contribute to, if they are so inclined! In addition to planning a wedding in 2026, the couple also plan to purchase their very first home together this year, and are planning a once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon trip to Greece! Additionally, cash gifts at the wedding are of course welcome and there will be a table for cards at the venue. Any gifts purchased from the registry will be sent directly to the couple's home address! Our loved ones attendance at our wedding is the best gift of all. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all!

Question

Are there any activities, restaurants, bars, etc. that you recommend in Dahlonega?

Answer

Please see the "Travel & Things To Do" tab above for our recommendations on local restaurants, bars, wineries, and activities!

Question

What if I have a question not listed here?

Answer

Please feel free to reach out to the bride or groom via text or call, or via Facebook messenger, if you have any additional questions not listed in this section! If you have a question the day before, or the day of the wedding itself, 10/2/26 or 10/3/26, please contact the maid of honor, Mackenzie Koppenhofer, via call, text, or Facebook messenger, as the couple want to enjoy their wedding weekend uninterrupted! We are so excited to celebrate with you all!
