Maid of Honor
O-L-I-V-I-A, Oliiiiiivia (as the song goes in the Enright household). This red-headed beauty helped comfort Shelby through many nightmares as a kid. Olivia also has to put up with advice from older sisters even when she doesn't want any, but has always been able to be her strong self through it all. Her only rule for the day is to not feed the bride dogfood for the second time....
Dar
Best Man
The other half of the Tar and Dor duo, Dar has been Tor's best friend since the day he was born. From rocking matching bowl cuts, traveling the world, or living together through college, there is hardly an experience or memory that Dar and Tor haven't shared together. The haircuts may have changed, but the boys are as close as ever.
Rachel
Bridesmaid
Rachel Taylor was responsible for driving Shelby around and introducing the best high school sports of field hockey and lacrosse. Through all the drives to and from school, Shelby and Rachel ended up on the same page with music taste. Especially grateful for all the times we copied one another's style, as kids and adults.
Will
Groomsman
Will and Tor met when they were 10 year-olds on a club soccer team and continued to play together through high school. Over the years the two have enjoyed disc golfing, playing video games, and performing a choreographed dance for Will's wedding. Tor has been extremely fortunate to have a friend with such similar interests who is always ready for an adventure.
Whitney
Bridesmaid
Whit Tink, the wrangler of the Enright siblings. Whitney crimped Shelby's hair for many of years (though that's not the plan for the wedding day) and made many of mixed CDs to get Shelby through her middle school years. Thankful that she can now lead the Enright siblings through yoga practices to bring calm to us all.
Kendall
Groomsman
There probably isn't a person Tor enjoys spending time with more in the world than Kendall. If you have ever spent time around him, you will know that Kendall is the life of the party. Tor and Kendall met on the same club soccer team as Will, and their friendship blossomed in junior high as they had fun getting into hijinks that included sneaking into Allen Fieldhouse and fishing for people with a dollar bill downtown.
Kirsten
Bridesmaid
Best friends that teach together can't be separated. Ask any person about "Gorman" and they won't have a bad word to say about her. Just as she cares for her students, she cares for her friends. Shelby is very thankful that she gets to carpool with her every day, travel Europe with her and decompress every school day with her (as well as trying to beat her in pickle ball each week).
Matthias
Groomsman
Matthias and Tor have been like brothers since high school when they enjoyed playing soccer, making films, and hanging out after school together. Dormmates their freshman year of college, they grew even closer as they shared 90 square feet of bedroom space and a year's-worth of unforgettable memories. The two have stayed close over the years, going on floating, visiting Dar in Portland, and being groomsmen in Will's wedding.
Papa
Ring Bearer
The most patient golf instructor there ever was. Teaching 5 kids how to golf (with a lot of assistance from mom) when most of them don't like waiting for the mac'n'cheese to finish cooking, is quite the feat. Shelby is forever grateful for the inspiration to teach from Gammy and for Papa always being one of the biggest supporters of them both.
Grandpa Roy
Ring Bearer
You may know Grandpa Roy as the Tesla-driving nonagenarian, a BAK and RAGBRAI stalwart, or Northern Iowa's best physics professor. For Tor, however, Grandpa Roy has been a shining example of how to treat others with empathy, warmth, and humility. We couldn't imagine our special day without Grandpa Roy being a part of it!
Rob
Officiant
When you grow up with four sisters, can you be any luckier? While he may never have had the chance to be in charge of his sisters, now he has the opportunity as the officiant over Shelby and Tor. The Enright siblings pride themselves on their music taste, but Rob wins it all with the playlists that everyone enjoys (including Shelby's students). Tor and Shelby look forward to Rob leading us all through the ceremony.
