If you’ve never visited the Alcázar de Sevilla, we highly recommend making time during your trip. This UNESCO World Heritage site is one of the most beautiful landmarks in Spain — famous for its Moorish architecture, stunning gardens, and intricate tilework. It’s located right in the city center, making it easy to visit before or after wedding events. Tickets often sell out, so we suggest booking in advance.
The Cathedral of Seville is the largest and most impressive Gothic cathedral in the world — and the stunning setting for our wedding ceremony. Located in the heart of the city, it’s home to breathtaking architecture, rich history, and the famous Giralda tower. If you’d like to explore inside beyond the ceremony, we recommend booking tickets in advance.
One of Sevilla's most recognizable landmarks, Las Setas offers incredible panoramic views of the city. We especially recommend visiting around sunset, when you can walk along the elevated pathways and watch the city light up as the sun goes down.
No trip to Sevilla is complete without a visit to Plaza de España. Built for the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition, it's one of the city's most iconic landmarks, known for its beautiful tilework, bridges, fountains, and impressive architecture. Take a stroll, rent a rowboat, or simply enjoy one of the most beautiful spots in the city.
One of my absolute favorite experiences in Sevilla is Devour Food Tours. They offer multiple tour options, each a fantastic way to explore the city while tasting incredible local dishes and learning about Sevilla’s food culture. I’m going to try to get a discount code for our guests — stay tuned!
Looking for a relaxing break from sightseeing? AIRE Ancient Baths is a beautiful spa experience in the heart of Sevilla, where you can unwind in candlelit thermal baths, steam rooms, and salt pools inside a restored historic palace. You can also book reasonably priced massages and other treatments, making it the perfect way to recharge after exploring the city.
If you'd like to bring a taste of Spain home with you, we highly recommend taking a morning cooking class at Triana Market. You'll shop for fresh local ingredients in one of Sevilla's most famous markets before learning how to prepare traditional Spanish dishes such as paella. It's a fun, hands-on experience and a great way to learn more about Andalusian food and culture.
For a uniquely Sevillian experience, stop by Convento de Santa Inés to try sweets made by cloistered nuns using recipes passed down for generations. In many convents like this one, you'll ring a bell, place your order, pay in cash, and receive your treats through a traditional revolving wooden turntable, all without ever seeing the nuns. It's a delicious treat and a glimpse into one of Sevilla's oldest traditions.
