Q & A
Question

Where will it be and when?

Answer

The wedding is being held at Big Ridge State Park on May 14th 2025. The ceremony starts at 30-3:15 so we are asking guests to get there by 2:30 to give yourself enough time to park, use the restroom if needed, SIGN THE GUEST BOOK, and be seated before it starts. The wedding party plus parents will be there at 9AM to finish setting up and get everything ready.

Question

Is There A Dress Code?

Answer

Yes, semi formal/formal. Dressy casual is fine too.

Question

Do you guys have a gift registry?

Answer

You can find our registries and funds under the registry tab on our wedding website! Gifts are NOT required or expected from ANY of our guests. Your presence on our special day is your gift to us!

Question

When do we have to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 26th or Earlier. Please RSVP Yes Or No you and your party. Unfortunately if you RSVP no or not before the deadline we will be sending more invites out since we aren’t able to invite everyone we would like, so please be 100% sure of your answer and submit it before March 26th to attend or to let us know we can invite others by RSVPing no.

Question

Are plus ones allowed?

Answer

If you were not specifically given a plus one then probably not, but if you have someone you REALLY want to bring please ask! If our guest count and budget allows for it than we’re all in!

Question

Is this an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We politely ask that you put your phone on silence and in your pocket/under your seat for the entire ceremony. We will have a photographer and videographer there to capture the memories and it looks so much better if phones are not out. This also allows you to be fully in the moment with us! We will happily send you photo and video when we receive them from our photographer and videographer if you would like! We will also have designated people strategically placed out of the way to video the ceremony.

Question

What are your venues policies?

Answer

No alcohol without a permit No smoking in or around the building No pets inside the building No placing BRSP chairs or tables in an uncovered area No taping, stapling, or glueing things to any of their property No fire in the fireplace until renovations are done (due to its old and historic nature it is not able to safely contain a fire at the current moment) All personal items and trash must be cleaned up and out of the venue by 10PM. Trash must be placed in the trash bins outside. No confetti, fake flower petals, or other material that is not biodegradable should be thrown or left out after 10PM Music is allowed but must be kept at reasonable volume

Question

What are your colors?

Answer

The main color is Lavender and the side colors are pastel yellow, cream, white, and sage green.

Question

What about overnight accommodations?

Answer

Due to our small budget, we cannot provide overnight accommodations. However, friends and family are welcome to stay with our family if there is room (please ask if there is room as we would hate for you to not have somewhere to stay if there is no more room), or there are cabins, hotels, and airbnbs, all within an hour of the venue.

Question

How do we RSVP?

Answer

There should be a tab on our wedding website where you can RSVP. If you can’t find it just text either the bride or groom and let us know that you are for sure coming!
