We’re Getting Married!

We first met in August 2022 at the local 4-H club. We were in the same friend group because there weren’t many people in the club our age. We said hi to each other and were in the same conversations, but never really talked to each other. Well… 10 months later we decided to go to a 4-H fashion design conference. There was only four people from our county 4-H club there, so we kind of all stayed as a group. Throughout the weekend we started talking and somehow got on the topic of animals and the zoo. I said something about how I hadn’t been to the zoo in forever. The next day our little group had finished sewing our bucket hats as one of our projects, and I said something like “We should take a picture wearing our bucket hats!” So we all took a picture with our bucket hats and I asked him to send me the picture (so that I got his phone number lol). Two weeks later, we were texting each other and he asked me if I wanted to go to the zoo with him that Saturday June 17th. (I thought it was so cute and thoughtful and honestly crazy that he has remembered that tiny detail from a random conversation two weeks prior!). Well we went on our first date and he really thought he was gonna get a kiss on our first date! He absolutely did not and I made him wait a few more weeks lol. Six months later, Christmas Day 2023, he had gag gifts for my whole family. A singular pack of Raman wrapped in a box. I knew about the gag gift, but what I didn’t know is that my pack of Raman had a note taped to it that said “will you marry me?” When I opened it he knelt down in front of me looking like he was about to have a heart attack because it probably took me a good minute and a half to say anything lol. Now here we are… Asking YOU to be a part of our wedding day! We would love to see you there!
