We met in 2010 at our good friends' house party, in a closet under the stairs. We immediately hit it off and became great friends. After hanging out, cooking meals, and watching movies with our wonderful group of friends, we soon realized that there was something more. We dated on and off for about a year and a half, but we each still had a lot to figure out. We stayed close friends and after we each took our own paths for several years, we started talking more about "us". In February 2017 we finally decided to truly choose each other. Shelby took an awesome job in northern New Mexico to be closer to Bryce, and realized what an incredible place it was! Since then, we've grown closer and more and more committed to each other. It's been an incredible five years growing together and envisioning the future we want to create – dreams to travel, buy a house with land, and continue to adventure outside. As best friends and partners, we're always supporting one another through changes, challenges, and now a global pandemic! This past summer, we decided to commit to a life together and celebrate our love with all of our closest family and friends. On October 2nd, 2021, at the hot springs and under the fall leaves at Ojo Caliente, Bryce asked Shelby, "Do you wanna marry me?" Of course, the answer was, "Yes." We feel so lucky to have known each other for so long and to have watched each other grow into the people we are today. We are grateful and excited to spend our lives together as best friends.
