Wedding Party

Wow, thanks for checking this part of the website out. Here are some knuckleheads that'll be walking down the aisle with us.

Callie Corley

Maid of Honor

I met Callie freshman year of college in Chi Alpha and I've been all the better for it! She quickly became one of my best friends and an amazing sister in Christ. She and I lead a d-group together for two years, and she never ceases to blow me away with how well she loves others. Callie is an enneagram 1, like me, and has helped keep our wedding planning organized and on track. Any cute and cool aspect of our wedding can probably be traced back to Callie (we spent a lot of time looking at ideas on Pinterest and Instagram, ok?!). She's also been our relationship's biggest cheerleader and never misses a chance to take pictures of us "being cute together."

Grant Poole

Best Man

What a man. After I broke things off with my ex Grant was immediately there and wanted to know me better. Over time we became much closer friends, and bonded over many shared interests. I remember our twelve hour drive to Fort Myers through the middle of the night, and the sheer number of sunflower seeds this man ate. Throughout my pursuit of Lauren this guy was always giving me the advice that I needed, and wholeheartedly endorsed the relationship. I'm excited to have him standing alongside the other men of God in my life to witness the fruits of his labor in this way.

Lauren Dorrill

Maid of Honor

Lauren and I met freshman year in Chi Alpha, and from the moment I met her, I knew I had made a life-long friend. Lauren always has a smile on her face and is never afraid to ask how your relationship with Jesus is doing. Lauren and I lead a d-group together for 2 years. She made sure every girl she met knew she was welcome and had a place to be herself and feel loved within our d-group. Lauren creates an environment where everyone in that place feels like family.

Joseph Wildzunas

Groomsman

Duuuuude this guy. I remember getting up to shenanigans with this guy back in my Sophomore year of college, not gonna type them out though. My current obsession with coffee and all the science behind it is because of this guy and the 7:30 AM Tuesdays we'd have sitting on his balcony, sometimes in the 45 degree cold. Joseph along with a select few others were responsible for bringing me into true friendship and community when my life took a dark turn, something that I'll be forever grateful for. He's a dear friend and I'm so thankful for the ways that he's poured into me and become like a brother to me.

Cora Greiwe

Bridesmaid

Cora and I met at Outlook Christian Church back in the 6th grade and became instant best friends. We played in Orchestra and our string quartet, Lacojead, together throughout middle and high school. We went to many Marvel movie premieres together and celebrated countless birthdays and holidays together. The summer before we started college, we went together with our youth group on a mission trip to Latvia. In a funny turn of events, we both joined Chi Alpha at UA and IU. College may have created some distance, but Cora has always been there to support me and show the love of Christ in everything she does.

Christian King

Groomsman

If you're coming to our wedding from UA then this guy needs no introduction. He's one of the kindest and most intentional people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing and growing in faith alongside. We were in a small group together led by the guy officiating the wedding, and ended up leading our own small group this past year. Working together we've been able to share God's love with others, and I couldn't have asked for a better partner in doing so.

Audra Gilman

Bridesmaid

Audra is quite literally the oldest friend I have. We met in the first grade in before/aftercare when I saw her writing in cursive, which I thought was really cool at the time. Audra and I have stayed friends ever since. She introduced me to the best amusement park, Kings Island, and our favorite childhood book series, Harry Potter. Audra has been there through every twist and turn, all the bad hairstyles, the braces, the previous crushes and exes.

Trevor Walraven

Groomsman

I've never met someone who takes more seriously the conviction of servitude to others. Living with this guy my final year of college has been an incredibly transformational time, seeing the way that he so selflessly seeks to do what he can to serve others who are suffering and finding such true joy in the success of his friends. Whether its watching cartoons on Sunday mornings or having late night talks in his room, I'll always value the time that I had to live with this absolute man of God.

Zoe Klink

Bridesmaid

I haven't known Zoe for quite as long as everyone else, but I love her sweet personality and unique sense of humor. I'm so excited to have her as a sister-in-law and more importantly as a close friend for the rest of our lives.

Chris Etchemendy

Groomsman

Though I've changed so much since going off to college, my friendship with this lad has always stayed the same. We've known each other for years and years, and spent so much time together that its like I have another sibling. I remember sitting in the bleachers of a high school basketball game trying to hide our 24 pack of Coke from our pep band director, as well as the plans made to end up as neighbors in the same nursing home, sitting on the same bench that we sat on in high school but as crochety old people. We'll see how that plan pans out now that I'm getting married, but I'll always carry with me the good times that we've had.

Jaysi Klink

Bridesmaid

If you thought one sister-in-law was cool enough, two are even better! From the moment I met Jaysi, she immediately made me feel welcome and like I was already part of the family. I'm so excited to have her as a sister and a friend!

Kyle Carson

Groomsman

This guy is such an inspiration. Kyle has been nothing but obedient to God's call on his life, whether its in the small things like affirming my decisions and holding me accountable in the ways that I need, or on a much larger scale like being a full-time missionary. This guy is a force of true good, not relenting in his desire to see goodness and love in the lives of those around him. I'm sad that I'll be moving away from him, but I feel comfortable and even excited knowing that he will still be walking in step with what God has planned for his life.

Koby Cormier

Officiant

When I was a sophomore in college my closest friend at the university graduated and moved away. This combined with the confusing time that was the pandemic left me feeling lonely and without a guide. It was then that Koby stepped in and actively did what he could to pour into me and walk alongside me in faith and help me through my growing interest in pursuing Lauren. He's a very close friend, and I'm super excited to have the person who has helped me develop so much in my faith be the one to officiate this whole shindig.
