Alisa started as Shaylon's sister-in-law but quickly became her sister. There was never a doubt as to who to ask to be my Matron of Honor, I always knew it would be her. Through the years, we've traveled the country, visited Disney too many times to count and watched countless make up tutorials on YouTube. #McAwesome Also, if you see 3 gorgeous kids running around the wedding, they belong to her.
Jacob McAlister
Best Man
Seth met Jacob and his family (aka The McAwesomes) shortly after he started dating Shaylon. Jacob is one of the funniest and most creative people Seth has ever met so it was pretty obvious from the beginning that we would be friends. But better than that is the fact that Jacob will be family, which made the decision to ask him to be my best man all too easy.
Lauren Warshaw
Bridesmaid
Shaylon and Lauren met at the University of Florida twenty-something years ago. Every summer, Shaylon drags Lauren to see the Dave Matthews Band in West Palm Beach. If sweltering in the Florida heat and humidity with a splash of torrential downpour, doesn't say friendship, I don't know what does. While they don't get to see each other as much as they would like, they always pick up right where they left off as if no time had passed.
Kevin Stewart
Groomsman
Kevin is one of the most uplifting people you will ever meet and has been a positive influence in Seth's life for as long as he has known him. From visiting both times Seth was in the hospital to the long conversations about life in coffee houses, Kevin has consistently been in Seth's corner and that is something that will not soon be forgotten.
Jennifer Hoge
Bridesmaid
Shaylon met Jennifer while working at the same Orlando law firm 5 years ago. While our working relationship ended before it could begin, Jen wrangled me into joining the infamous trivia group, the Glitta Diggas. Jen is one of the smartest and hardworking women that I know. Her inappropriate sense of humor mirrors mine and we're both obsessed with horses. She believes in lifting other people up and I can count on her to send me a daily text reminding me that I am a badass.
Brian Keene
Groomsman
Seth has known Brian for too many years to count. Through it all Brian has always pushed Seth to be the best possible version of himself. In fact, Seth credits Brian for being the person that encouraged him to finish his degree. Despite all of the crazy life changes over the years, Brian and Seth have had an incredible friendship and that won't be changing any time soon.
Ella McAlister
Junior Bridesmaid
Ella is Shaylon's one and only niece. She rocks her 90's grunge better than anyone in the 90's ever did, loves make up, baking and is slightly obsessed with Queen (much like her Auntie Lana is with the Dave Matthews Band).
Phoenix McAlister
Ring Barrier
Phoenix is Shaylon's youngest nephew. He's funny, cute and rambunctious. Let's be honest, he's going to steal the show on the big day. Despite our best efforts to tell Phoenix that he's actually a Ring Bearer, he insists on the title "Ring Barrier."
