Bride
I met Ryan when I was 17. I walked into my 1st class at CSUCI & sat down in an open seat, followed by a tap on my shoulder. Ryan introduced himself & asked me where I was from. I replied San Diego, in which he said, "me too!" He told me he was from Oceanside (later I found out Valley Center haha how he became the Kook). When class ended, somehow my N64 was brought up, we walked back to my dorm room & played Mario Kart. There is not enough space given in here to be able to write how much Ryan means to me & how his role in my life has shaped me into the person I am today. Over the last 11 years of our friendship we navigated life together & he has supported me in every step of the way. I love everything about this man & I am so excited to be his wife. He's my past, my present & my future.

I met Shay first day of Spanish class. Shay was the beautiful, flower child, surfer girl sitting in front of me and fortunately I had the courage to tap her shoulder and introduce myself. Lucky for me she turned around and happened to be the coolest, kookiest and sweetest girl I had ever met. We spent the rest of the day talking, hanging out, and playing Super Mario Cart in her dorm room. I soon realized that she was a very special person and that I was fortunate to call her my best friend. Shay has been my best friend ever since and I cannot express in enough words how much she means to me and the impact she has had on my life. I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend and love of my life. She is my past, present, and future.
Maid of Honor
Shay Shay and Ryan are engaged and getting married! I struggle to put into words how overwhelmed with emotion I am: Shay and Ryan are an example of a triumphant love story. They entered each others lives as friends and set a solid foundation for their relationship as life partners. I am honored to be apart of their relationship and to tell their stories of how love can change and grow as they both have. Shay and Ryan prove that loves does span from your past, to your present and to the future. So let's get to it! Congratulations to my sister and my new bro! Love Drew Bug (The Maid of Honor)
Best Man
Having Ryan as a big brother has been a unique experience. Things have changed from him beating me up to him being one of my best friends. He is always there for me if I need it. He gets me out of my comfort zone to experience amazing things I would not on my own. From Costa Rica to Nicaragua, he is the kookiest shredder I have ever met that I want to always be around. Being his little brother has shaped the way I live my life. Love you man!

Shay and I met our sophomore year of high school (2006). SDA all the way baby!! We quickly bonded over our love of Disney movies and dressing up for dances. Our high school teachers rarely saw one of us without the other and on those occasions when we weren't together there were concerned looks from those teachers asking, "where's Shay!?!" Or vice versa. :) Looking forward to a great year of preparation for Shay and Ryan's big day! Can't wait for all of us to get together to celebrate! I'll be right there with Drew crying tears of joy! No seriously though, I will probably be ugly crying tears of happiness at some point... I promise I'll hold it together for the ceremony and hopefully most of the reception :)

Good things happen when #theRyansGoSouth & it turns out there's no better bonding than 10 days surfing together in some exotic land. A chance surf trip to Nicaragua started it all & it has been full send from then. Our friendship has shaped my life in more ways than he realizes & without him I would not have set have set roots in Encinitas & may have never taken the most important trip of my life; to Ecuador to meet up with Paula. Ryan is the witness to my legal marriage & his direct friendship with Paula since the beginning means more to me than words can describe. I am beyond honored to be by Ryans side as he marries the woman of his dreams & I am overjoyed that 2 of my best friends will forever be the source of each others happiness as we share each step in our life journey together.

Shay and I met in 2017 when she had moved back to San Diego. We met at none other than Ryan, Nico and Vinnie's place! Shay was wearing a Steeler's tank like a true fan. Our connection was immediate and the chemistry electric!! We quickly bonded over our professions in the mental health field, our love of Colorado, beer, and the great outdoors. I saw Shay's courage and strength early on in our friendship, and in that moment knew I needed this radiant soul in my life!!! I couldn't be more thrilled for Ryan and Shay's union, and so stoked to take part in all the wedding festivities with everyone!

The Ryan and Nico friendship goes way back to the elementary school days when we both played on the best soccer team in Valley Center, "The Hurricanes". We spent many summers growing up and hanging around Valley Center, Moonlight Beach, Carlsbad Campgrounds and doing normal teenage shenanigans. We then went off on our own ways to different colleges but ended up reuniting after our first year of working in the real world when we decided to quit our jobs, go on a Panamanian surf trip, and move down to Encinitas afterwards. Since then, we've had a great run; living together, traveling the world together on surf excursions, going to the best shows, and enjoying quality time with all of our friends.

I met Shay and all the Encinitas group in 2018 when I moved to San Diego from Ecuador! Shay has been awesome since day 1! And we have bonded more and more especially now for our love of the "Rayancitos", puppies, plants, and making improvised plans! "Anything can happen date nights". I am so excited to be a part of this and can't wait to celebrate together!

I met Ryan about 3 years ago (2017) at a party with some mutual friends. The next day we were all talking about moving to Encinitas & I thought I could really use a change of pace right now & decided to make the jump. I was pretty worried about not knowing many people up in north SD county but he welcomed me with open arms. We surfed almost every morning together for 2 years & our friendship blossomed into what it is today! From camping with his family every year, to picking up his sister from the airport after being away for a year in Australia, too rooming with his little brother; I'm like the Marcon family bike, every one gets a ride! But back to Ryan, I have never met a more warm, happy, & welcoming person & I'm lucky to call this man a friend, & blessed to call him a best friend!

Hi I'm Morgan, Ryan's favorite sister! Ryan and Shay are truly meant for each other! I've known Shay for over 10 years as one of Ryan's best friends. And now I have the privilege of knowing her as Ryan's fiancée and wife to be. Shay has made my brother the happiest I've ever seen him. Every time Shay walks into the room, Ryan lights up. Ryan is loved and in love. Being the only girl in the family, I couldn't have asked for a better sister to join the family. It's been so fun getting to know the whole Goldberg/Teregis family and then finally joining our families together! Can't wait until we are all together!

I've known Ryan since he was born and our bond was sealed with "the look" when we were only a few months old. We grew up surfing, snowboarding, camping, and always being rowdy together with Derek, Morgan and Gavin. Even though distance has separated us for the past few years, we've stayed close. I couldn't be more happy for Ryan and Shay as they embark on this new and awesome adventure together.

Since early on in our friendship, I knew there was a special bond between Shay and I. We met serving at Lure Fish House, and quickly became roommates and best buds during college. We both shared a love for the movie Almost Famous, rocking out to vinyl records, and shot-gunning cheap beer together. Shay is a sister to me and one of my closest friends. I couldn't be more excited for her and Ryan. He's the only dude worthy of this party animal and most amazing person. Can't wait to rage with all of you and celebrate in paradise!

As the older cousin Ryan has influenced my life in many different ways & continues to play an important role. I have tried to adopt & imitate Ryan's passion, positivity, & pure stoke that he exudes on a daily basis. Ryan has taught me many important life lessons, some good and others not so good. Whether it was waking up early to surf Oceanside or driving up to Big Bear for a fun-filled weekend, the many adventures that we have shared together will continue to be some of the best memories that I have. Our families have been fortunate enough to grow together & I consider Ryan more of a brother than a cousin; the relationship that we have developed will last a lifetime & I know we will always be there for one another.

I'm one of Ryan's long time good friends from the early days of growing up in Valley Center. Ryan & I played soccer, surfed, made silly music videos together for years & went beach camping every year. I was basically one of the Marcon's. Freshmen year of college we spent time traveling to each other's schools to party, have fun & meet each other's new college friends & that is how I met Shay somewhere around 2010. Ryan, Shay & I went to our 1st massive rave that New Years Eve & true friendships were born. Shay & I shared a bond over the love of all things music & I knew our friendship would be more than a one night stand. I was there as their friendship blossomed & come full circle 10 years later to see it grow into something beautiful. I'll be sure to tell you I saw this coming all along.

Ryan and I are cousins. We grew up together as our families did things together. We continue to go on annual trips to Big Bear and to surf together locally. Having Ryan as a part of my family's life means a ton to us. We love his fun loving spirit and always being up for a good time!
