Question

What is the appropriate attire to wear to the Kaua'i Wedding Ceremony?

Answer

Beach Attire: Wear linen pants, short-sleeved button downs, maxi dresses, and sandals. Extra brownie points if you wear Watermen ;) The ceremony is located on grass, so you may want to rethink stilettos and leave those behind. Please do not wear white or purple.

Question

What time should I plan on arriving to the Kaua'i Wedding site?

Answer

*Guests who are not staying at the Royal Sonesta (Kaua'i Marriott) Resort please arrive at 3pm to the Resort to evade traffic and delaying the wedding, there is a bar and restaurant onsite for guests to enjoy located next to the pool (1 minute walk to ceremonial site). *For guests staying onsite at the Royal Sonesta (Kaua'i Marriott) please arrive to the ceremonial site no later than 3:40pm *For guests who are staying at the Kehlani Condo's, there are free 24hr shuttle services to take to and from the ceremonial site, please arrive to the ceremonial site by 3:40pm

Question

It includes my spouse/significant other/children in the RSVP area for the Rehearsal Dinner, am I able to bring them along?

Answer

We love your significant other/spouse/children! However, we really want to keep the Rehearsal Dinner as intimate as possible, therefore only the wedding party members as well as the parents of the bride and groom will be able to attend. There is a bar onsite nearby from the rehearsal dinner, where your spouse/significant other can hang out until we conclude our event. We plan on taking a shot or two before the big day afterwards there!

Question

Can I bring a date or guest?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. If your invited date or guest cannot attend, we'd like you to not replace them. This applies to both the Kaua'i Wedding and Carlsbad Reception.

Question

Can I bring my kiddos?

Answer

Even though we love your little ones, we'd love for you to take the night off as parents and come and celebrate with us! Please make prior arrangements for daycare/nightcare. This applies to both the Kaua'i Wedding and Carlsbad Reception.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the service?

Answer

For Kaua'i guests: *There is free parking for all guests, please park in the Event Parking lot for free parking. *For guests who are staying at the Kehlani Condo's, there are free 24hr shuttle services to take to and from the ceremonial site, please arrive to the ceremonial site by 3:40pm *For guests who are staying offsite and plan on using a taxi or Uber service, please note that all taxi and Uber services stop at 11pm on the island For Carlsbad guests: *There is free street parking near the residence of the location *Uber/Lyft/Taxi services are encouraged

Question

Do I need to bring or wear a mask to the Kaua'i Wedding & Reception?

Answer

You will need to bring a mask, but you do not need to wear one if you are vaccinated. If you are not vaccinated, please be mindful of the Sonesta's policies and wear your mask.

Question

What is the appropriate attire to wear to the Reception in Carlsbad?

Answer

Hawaiian, Bohemian, 'Kook'y: However You Feel as Long as You're Having Fun and Ready to Dance the Night Away!

Question

I forgot to email myself the event itinerary that I RSVP'd to, how am I able to view the event schedule that I am invited to?

Answer

Go back to the RSVP tab, enter your name and you will be able to click through your RSVP'd events. When you (re)submit your RSVP, the website will ask you if you'd like to view your RSVP Summary. Click the RSVP Summary link and at the top of the page, there is a place for you to enter your email address so that you may email yourself the RSVP event information. Please contact us at the email provided above if you are having any questions or difficulties.

Question

Why am I not able to RSVP to the Kaua'i Wedding Ceremony?

Answer

You are extremely important to us! Unfortunately due to capacity restrictions with our venue we are not able to invite everyone to Kaua'i, which is why we have opted to have a similar ceremonial Reception held locally in Carlsbad, San Diego for all to be able to attend and celebrate!
