Portland International Airport

It is recommended that you make your travel plans to arrive Thursday 9.19.19 if you'd like extra time in the city or to avoid problems with flight delays. Otherwise, please attempt to arrive in Portland by 3pm Friday 9.20.19 This will allow for you to get checked in and settled into your hotel rooms prior to the Welcome Party that evening. ***The wedding party should plan for the rehearsal at 2pm on Friday. PDX (Portland International Airport) is the most convenient airport and they have a Blue Star Donuts! Perfect after a long flight.

Hotel

Holiday Inn Express Portland West/Hillsboro

This hotel is 60 minutes from PDX airport, and 10 minutes to the ceremony venue. Due to the small number of rooms needed, no discount will be offered by the hotel. The cost is $185 per night, but if you want to share a room with someone, 2 beds goes for $190. We chose this hotel because of its close proximity but you may look around the Hillsboro, OR area to find other accommodations to better suit your needs.

Train

Trimet

Take the Red Line from PDX to Beaverton Transit Center, then transfer to the Blue Line towards Hillsboro getting off at Orenco Station. It is possible to get essentially door to door service from the airport to our apartment and the Holiday Inn Express. Orenco Station train stop is a 7 minute walk to both and most likely someone can pick you up to avoid you having to walk with luggage. The cost for a train ticket is $2.50 for 2.5 hours of use, or $5 for an entire day, unlimited trips. We hope to provide some transportation when possible, but this is an option should the need arise.

Shuttle

USA Shuttle Service

The most economical means of transportation (besides the train) would be to go in with others on hiring a shuttle service. The train will take about 2 hours total due to the need to switch lines. A shuttle will take about 30 minutes. We have used this shuttle service to and from the airport. They are friendly, on time and have clean vehicles. They drive safely. This hotel is in downtown Portland and is where Jennifer, Shawn and the wedding party will stay and get ready the morning of the ceremony.
