We request your presence for breakfast on Friday morning if you are in town already! We will host breakfast at the Hillsboro vacation rental that Jennifer's parents have rented.

In Oregon, layers are your friend :-) Its chilly in the mornings and evenings, and even during the day in the shade, but in the sun it can be really warm despite the lower temperatures. We will be shaded from the sun in the forest, so think comfortable shoes and light outerwear. Extra shawls/light throw blankets will be available if needed. In the very unlikely event of rain, there is a reserved covered structure. It rains so lightly here and for such a short amount of time we would probably just wait it out if that happens. The dress code isn’t formal per se, since its in the morning and outside but elevated “Sunday Best” is a good guideline. The park is about 10 minutes drive from the Holiday Inn Express hotel and from our apartment complex. With some people renting cars and some not, it should be possible to coordinate rides to and from the wedding. If enough people were interested, we could also book a shuttle. It is about $7 to take Lyft or Uber.

Wedding Moon at the Beach

Casual but warm! Our beaches are rarely over 70 degrees and the water is always cold.

This is a second option instead of going home on Sunday: We have the house from 9/22-9/25 For all to enjoy a vacation together at Oregon's coast. This time of year is some of the nicest weather at the coast before winter settles in. We invite anyone who is able to come spend a couple of days at the coast with us before you have to head home. Dates from Sunday-Tuesday afternoon so you can plan your flights back for Wednesday (or Tuesday evening if you're a glutton for being rushed!) Day 1: Day after Wedding Picnic/Cannon Beach/Bonfire and S'mores on the beach Seaside Day 2: Breakfast at the house, Seaside for the day: cute coastal town with TONS to do or just relax on the private-ish beach, Dinner at the house and Game Night! Day 3: Breakfast at house, Choose your own activity or relax, Dinner at house and more Games!
