Ceremony

The ceremony will be held at the very southern end of the beach. (The walkway to the ceremony is in front of the Monastery Beach restrooms, so park as close as you can to that area for the least amount of walking.) Consider the start time will be prompt as our wedding planning team runs a tight schedule!
We're guided by this website to provide guidance on attire. The best input that we can provide is dress like you're going to a special event (dressy-casual). Be comfortable - this isn't a formal affair, but it also isn't a backyard BBQ. We just want you there.... Does that help?? When considering shoes: All guests will walk on a paved road to get to the ceremony site. The road is paved (but will have sand on it). At the end of the road, you'll be met with our wedding aisle that's made of wooden planks. The only time you'll be walking on actual sand is to move off the planks to your seat. The reception will be inside on a hardwood floor.
Reception

Our reception will immediately follow the ceremony. The reception venue is located 3 miles from the beach. A cocktail hour with a hosted (our treat) bar and appetizers will begin immediately upon your arrival. Once we arrive at the venue, we'll enjoy a toast, a delicious (and early) dinner buffet, the most delicious dessert, and the best part - - - dancing! As mentioned above, we'll have an open bar. This should help shake the shyness so you can take memorable photos in the photo booth. We can't wait to see you 'strike a pose!'
