When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by June 30, 2026 so we can have an accurate headcount. :)

When is the deadline to book with the hotel block?

Answer

The hotel block rate is available until March 31, 2026. After this date, rooms will be offered at the hotel’s standard rate.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. Please reach out if you have questions!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

October is a lovely time to visit Sicily. You can expect warm fall weather with highs around 75°F -80°F (24°C-27°C) and cooler evenings near 59°F (15°C). There’s a chance of light rain, so we suggest bringing layers and a light jacket just in case.

What is the dress code for the Welcome Party?

Answer

We’ll be gathering at the Romano Hotel (the hotel where will have a hotel block) in the hotel’s garden and fountain area for a relaxed kickoff to the weekend. Gentlemen: Breathable button-down shirts with lightweight pants. Loafers or clean sneakers all work. Ladies: Sundresses, skirts, or any breezy garden-party look. Florals, light fabrics, and comfortable shoes are perfect for walking on grass.

What is the dress code for the Wedding?

The dress code is Black Tie Optional. Gentlemen: A tuxedo is welcome, but a dark suit with a tie is perfectly appropriate. Ladies: Please wear a formal dress that is below the knee or floor length.

What color will the bridesmaids be wearing?

The bridesmaids will be wearing lavender.

How are the guests getting to the venue?

Answer

The venue is about 30 minutes from the hotel area. We will be providing a shuttle that departs from hotel to bring guests to the wedding and back later that evening.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding will be a mix of both! The ceremony and dancing will take place outdoors, while the cocktail hour and dinner will be held inside the castle. Please keep this in mind when choosing your footwear and layers.

What kind of shoes should or shouldn't I wear?

Answer

Ladies! DO NOT wear stiletto heels. I repeat, do not wear stiletto heels. There are a bunch of grassy/dirt/cobble stone areas that you might have to walk in so wear chunky heels or sandals. Can't have any of you ruining nice shoes or breaking any ankles!

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We would love for you to take photos during the cocktail hour, dinner, and party. However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
