Galway Arts Festival 2019 is July 15-28 (tentatively). The multidisciplinary festival takes place each July in Galway, Ireland and covers a range of art forms, including theatre, dance, music, opera, street spectacle, visual arts, discussion and comedy. You'll find some amazing acts and family friendly fun!

Galway is a very family friendly city, but the little ones will especially enjoy this amusement park on the seafront. Enjoy the carnival atmosphere with an assortment of rides and attractions to suit a diverse range of ages and tastes. It's a coastal walk of about 1.5 miles from Galway's center.
If its traditional music you want try Taafes and Tig Coili both located on shop street. For a good beer garden check out An Pucan and O'Connells both on Eyre square. An Pucan also have a great whiskey selection if you want to try some local whiskey. Garavans on shop st is also a great place for whiskey. For a good late bar try The Quays, The Front Door or The Kings Head, all on main street and will all have either a live cover band or DJ. You'll find the best Guinness in Galway at Freeneys, The Dew Drop Inn, The Crane Bar or Tig Coili's.
