FAQs

If you have any questions other than what is listed here, please reach out.
Question

Will Nick Saban be in attendance?

Answer

I seriously doubt it, but he is welcome, and “Dixieland Delight” will be played (the version sung at the University of Alabama). Also, as of writing, Kalen DeBoer has not yet earned an invite.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as possible would be ideal. Our final guest count must be given to our venue approximately one month prior to the wedding (the end of December 2025). If you have not RSVP’d by this date, we will assume you are not able to attend. If you did RSVP “Yes” but can no longer attend, please let us know ASAP as well so that we can make seating chart adjustments.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have a significant other and did not receive a +1 on your invitation, please let us know if you would like a +1 added for you. If it is at least one month before the wedding, we will do our best to accommodate you.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We respectfully ask that only children whose names were printed on the invitations (or invitations addressed to the ___ Family) be in attendance. If you are planning to travel with your child(ren) but they are not attending the wedding, we can set you up with a friend in the area for babysitting if needed!

Question

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes — there is an additional entrance to Pen Ryn with a ramp, a chair lift inside for the steps into the ballroom, and an accessible bathroom. St. Frances Cabrini is also accessible.

Question

What if the zombie apocalypse were to start in the middle of the festivities?

Answer

There are several guests among us who have significant experience in tense situations. We will look to them for further guidance. Notably, we would like to apologize, if this does occur, for dragging you all towards so many major population centers and undoubtedly lowering your chances of survival.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’ve selected black tie optional as our dress code for the wedding. While we’d like to do a formal black tie event, we absolutely do not want anyone to have to spend money on new attire or anything like that. Just please, no khakis, jeans, etc.

Question

What should I do if I have a food allergy?

Answer

Please indicate any allergy on your entree selection card mailed with the wedding invitations so that we can inform the chefs. If you have already submitted your entree selection card, you can reach out to our wedding coordinator. On a similar note: We are providing vegan, gluten free, and dairy free entree options.

Question

Is there transportation?

Answer

We are not sure at this time. Stay tuned for more information. For guests who live in the area, we strongly encourage driving or carpooling.

Question

It is painfully obvious which parts of this website the groom edited.

Answer

We know.
