Mass and Ceremony

Black tie optional. Keep in mind this is a church and dress appropriately.
Please arrive at the church 15-20 minutes early. Carpooling is suggested if possible. Please power off your cell phones and note that no photography is permitted in the church besides the professional photographer. This will be a full Catholic mass. We want all of our guests regardless of faith to attend. There will be provided programs with the order of mass, calls and responses, and any directives for those not used to Catholic service to follow along. When communion is distributed, non-Catholic and non-Orthodox guests can choose to remain seated or participate by receiving a blessing instead (simply cross your arms over your chest when you get to the front of the communion line so that the priest or deacon knows).
Cocktail Hour
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Guests are permitted to arrive no sooner than 15 minutes prior to the start of the event. The cocktail hour will be held in the entrance hall, library, and gallery of Pen Ryn Mansion. There are also fire pits stationed in the front outside. Butlered hors d’oeuvres, three grazing stations, and an open bar with signature drinks are available during this time.
Reception

The reception is held inside the ballroom of the Pen Ryn Mansion, but the cocktail space is still available for use later in the evening. Please make sure to select a plated dinner entree option below so the chefs know how many of each plate to make. All entrees are served with chef’s choice starch and vegetable. Aside from the seated dinner, the reception will include: the first dance, father of the bride dance, mother of the groom dance, extended family photos, speeches/toasts, bouquet toss, and exit of the bride and groom.
