Come visit our new home! From Berlin, take a 1 hour train ride to Leipzig, the city of Bach and where Matthias grew up! But be warned: it is very easy to fall in love with this city! Tour the historical marketplace, visit the enchantingly old churches, and kayak down the river. This is the largest city in the state of Saxony and is increasingly being known as the hipster town of Germany! The old town of Dresden makes you feel that you've stepped back in time, complete with castles and horse drawn carriages. Nearby the old town lies wineries and a river. Dresden is approximately 2-3 hours by train from Berlin. We suggest combining Dresden and Leipzig into a weekend trip if you feel so inclined to visit it.
