Breckinridge is located two hours from Denver International Airport. The town is 9,600 feet in elevation and is a popular ski resort destination in the winter months. This means short term rentals are plentiful! Breckinridge and nearby Frisco and Silverthorne have hotel options, although we aren’t reserving a block of rooms due to the small size of the wedding. Air Bnb and VRBO are both abundant in these towns and are our recommended lodging. We will list some good hotel options below for you to consider. The route up in September should not encounter any severe weather or questionable roads. I-70 will take you from Denver to the high country just 10 miles from Breckenridge by SH-9.
The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at Whispering River Ranch.
