If you’re free Saturday morning, the Davis Farmer’s Market will be in full swing. You’ll find local produce, goods and food like coffee, honey, olive oil, soap, lemonade, popcorn, and local artist vendors and plenty of space for a picnic.

Davis Farmers Market

Great place for a morning walk. One end has a pond and the other a mini old growth redwood forest. You’ll have to download the parking app listed on the street signs to park or you can drive to the west end and park for free.

UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden

Say hello to our feathered friends…Great place to see all sorts of raptors up close and personal. Say hello to Fuzzy the 20lb golden eagle but stay away from Rosa, evil turkey vulture. Open Sat 9 am to Noon. Free.

California Raptor Center

Great local bookstore. Check out their cool socks and youth section upstairs.
