Garrett and Shannon met Deb in PA school.  After careers in the New York Symphony, motherhood, yoga instructor, and teacher, Deb decided to pursue a career as a PA.  Garrett and Shannon were both drawn to her and became close friends.  During Garrett's residency after school, Shannon spent lots of time with Deb making dinners, drinking wine, and helping Deb DIY every home project imaginable.  Garrett and Shannon chose Deb to be the officiant for the wedding not only because of her friendship, but her wisdom and zest for life.  She has inspired them never to stop reinventing themselves or growing as individuals.
